Finally! Well-made diapers that fit!
I have 2 Maltese and 2 Maltipoos. They are all rescues with limited training and poor bladder control. 1 male, 3 females. Their weights vary from 10 to 18 lbs. Their waist measurements are between 16 and 22 inches. Medium is the perfect fit for all of them... Although the 22 inch waist is at the max for fit. These diapers are well constructed and very comfortable for the dogs. The pads that come with them are thick and very absorbent. I have not had a leak through to the diaper. The snap for the pad I'd inside, under the tag. I also use poise liners for pads. There is a wide Velcro band that makes it easy to size adjust for each dog. Also there are snaps on the belly that let you adjust the length. What I like best is the extended body length! They stay fully in place mid-body and never bunch around the crotch, especially if the pad is wet. There is extra room in the wee area which allows a wet pad to stay away from the dog's body. Other diapers I have tried are too snug in the crotch and this pulls the pad against the body. Wet pads are uncomfortable and can cause urine burns to the skin and coat discoloration. Of course the pad should be changed immediately when wet but this is helpful if you don't catch it right away.

Good product, works well after a little experimentation
I recently ordered these dog diapers (the smaller size, medium-large) for our elderly male pug, who has become incontinent. I got these rather than another type because I wanted the additional pads to help absorb urine, since the dog would be wearing them for extended periods during the day, not just at night as some other reviewers of dog diapers were using them. When I first got them, I had difficulty getting them to fit properly and was concerned that they were too large, despite their adjustability. They were very gappy around the dog's thighs, and when he urinated, it was dribbling out onto the floor. I had the diapers adjusted to their shortest length and was velcroing them as snugly as I could, but it was not tight enough. However, after a little experimentation, I found that if I folded the snap-in pad in half, the diaper fit much more snugly. This has the additional advantage of covering the label tag, which otherwise sticks right into the way and might deflect absorption when worn by a male dog. As long as I also pull the velcro straps quite snugly, there are no noticeable gaps, and I have had no further problems with urine leaks. There have been no problems retaining feces whatsoever. On the whole, this is a good-quality product. It absorbs and retains waste effectively and washes up easily. The mesh lining doesn't stick to waste and makes it easy to dump formed feces into the toilet with no rinsing necessary, though rinsing or soaking before washing would probably be necessary for diarrhea or blood. The only real design flaws are in the placement of the label - not likely to be an issue for dogs in heat, and compensated for in my situation by folding the pad over as previously mentioned - and the lack of additional velcro patches for use when washing the diaper. Such patches, common on baby diapers/diaper covers, secure the velcro hooks when the diaper is open so that they do not stick to the lining or pad (or to other items in the wash load) and cause additional wear or damage. I'm working around this lack by fastening the diaper closed, but inside out, for washing; but it would be simpler and better if they had such patches. All in all, this is a good product, and it is working well for my purposes. I've not been using the diapers long enough to comment on their long-term durability, but they seem reasonably well-constructed and I have no particular concerns on that score. They should not, after all, have to stand up to the rigors baby diapers do. I would recommend these to anyone with an appropriately-sized dog (I would not try them on a dog under fifteen pounds).

Size is crazy big!
I am not completely happy, or unhappy with this product. The reasons I'm unhappy, is they are HUGE. I have a 50lb lab, and the "medium to large" diapers fall off of her. they wrap around ok with the Velcro, but, they sag down so far that she just pees outside of the diaper. I think if they fit her adequately, we wouldn't have this problem. I think better sizing, like a "small, medium, and large" would be better, instead of "small to medium" or "medium to large" This makes for huge size groups. I'm also not happy with the pad in it. It only snaps in on one side. On the other side, you have to hold onto while you wrap the diaper around. When you have an elderly incontinent dog, it makes it very uncomfortable to get her situated when doing this.I did however take the pad out of the diaper, and put it in one that fits her from another company and the pad absorbs very well. So, it makes me feel like if the size wasn't so disproportioned, we might have better luck with the diaper itself

Disappointed
I simple cant make this work for my girl. Her waist measures 17in and she's just under 20lbs. So I ordered size med according to the chart. But these are to bulky for her. Really disappointed.

These are great for stopping leaks! Perfect for my old dog.
These are GREAT! I have a very old (16 y.o.) female dog, about 25 lbs, who can hold it all day but then pees in the hallway or elevator. I bought the size medium for her and they fit very well. The diapers I used before didn't have the liners and they leaked all over. These don't. The only leak I've had was when my dog had diarrhea, but even then, it wasn't as bad a mess as it would have been without. She wears them all day in her crate and at night. I've gotten rid of the pee pads and unlined fabric diapers I bought before. The liners on these are great and they wash up very well. I've probably washed each at least 4 dozen times, and they haven't frayed. I just pop the wet diaper and liner in the wash, and I wash them on hot, then hang them to dry (sometimes I will dry them in the dryer if I need another one more quickly). I do not recommend using any softener, because that may interfere with absorption and/or irritate your dog's skin. All in all, these are so good, I'm ordering 3 more to replace the original diapers I purchased. That way I don't have to wash them as frequently, either.

Works OK on Pris the lamb -- just more awkward to put on than I like.
I'm using these for a lamb so they don't quite fit like I wish they did but that's not really the diaper's fault. Plus I ordered medium because she's growing fast so they're still a bit big.My biggest problem was with the velcro wanting to stick to itself while I wrestled her tail through the hole, and the inner pad kept flopping over because it only attaches by one snap. But once I got it on, it worked well. Pris soiled the diaper within 10 minutes so it definitely did its job. It washed dried just fine.
