I bought these for potting up some herbs I bought in the reduced box at my local supermarket for 10p. I separated the plants in to several bunches - you should always do that with herbs bought from the supermarket as they always jam too many plants in to the pot to make the pots look full of life when you buy them and potted them out. I now have 5 decent sized Basil plants thriving and will be transplanting them out in the greenhouse when it gets warm enough and I fully expect to have enough basil to last the rest of this year for 20p plus the cost of these pots. The pots themselves are the standard brown you would expect and are sturdy enough. The size is good enough for a windowsill plant but don't forget to find yourself a nice looking pot as the drainage holes mean the pots need to stand in something to work properly and really they aren't exactly beautiful as they prioritise function over form. They do the job well though it terms of functionality.

Nice quality pots good value at the price

No drainage holes - you have to use a sharp knife to prize the plastic out of where the drainage holes should be. Other than that, serves their purpose perfectly well - sturdy and cheaper than from garden centres.
