diss - kinect 2.0 privacy cover - xbox one

This cover worked well, slid right on to my Xbox One Kinect, and covers the camera completely. Offered the privacy I wanted for my living room and was totally inexpensive. I have my kinect wall mounted below a projection screen and the cover still worked fine, and also is not noticeable while in place.

Was using a game to stand in front of the camera when I wasn't using my xbox because it is a little weird to have a camera watching you. This slipped right in and covers it. The price wasn't bad either.

Fast delivery, only con is that it came in a worn box package,but product inside was good with protective stickers on.Works well with kinect, slides on then clicks to hold.

The media could not be loaded. It has the perfect fit and snaps well. I wish it could slide so that I dont have to keep removing it. Nonetheless it does the job. Made of good thick plastic material.

Perfect fit and I feel better playing and not feeling like I'm being watched all the time. ha ha. Only thing is one time where I was holding my hand up the xbox one still reacted and the cover was on the lens. I was worried that the camera would scratch but there were no scratching. Still responds to commands only difference is if you are a bit on the paranoid side, like many of us, it allows more privacy. Inexpensive and a great fit that keeps the camera looking nice. complete crap, fell off my tv set and scratched my screen. There is no locking mechanism to keep it in place, it merely "holds" it in place.

Works exactly as described. Has the same exact color and finish as the actual Kinect and completely blocks the camera. DOES NOT block the audio....So the NSA will still be able to hear you ;)For the price it's a nice edition if you're concerned about privacy.

Stopped using it. I think it made the Kinect glitchy. From what I can tell, the Kinect seems to work better when it's not covered. Maybe it assumes it's off or nobody's there when it can't see anything. 2 stars because it does what it's supposed to and looks good doing it, but ended up throwing it away after perceived performance issues.
