I was REALLY hesitant about getting this mat because of the poor reviews and photos showing ripped mats. However, I recently got a treadmill and took a chance on this mat. It’s so much better quality than I thought it would be. Thick and sturdy, easy to wipe clean, NO off-gassing smell. Does a good job protecting my hardwood floors.In fact, I’m so pleased with this mat that I just came back to buy two more (for spin bike and Gazelle elliptical).Now that I’ve seen the mat, I honestly do not understand how the other reviewers ripped theirs. What were they doing, dragging a knife across it?! Axe-throwing?! Stabbing it with scissors?! I can see how it would get ripped if you scooted a really sharp piece of metal across it, but that would happen with ANY mat. I swear, some folks expect this thing to be made out of titanium. The majority of home gym equipment has wheels, so I don’t really see ripping as a huge problem here. I truly think the photos we are seeing of ripped mats are either user error or shipping damage.Don’t let the negative reviews dissuade you. This mat is worth trying.

The mat does it's job great. I was surprised how thick it is when I got it, but it protects the floor and is very easy to roll up and move around. I run on the treadmill at least twice a week for over 30 minutes each session and the mat doesn't show any signs of damage or major wear.I attached a picture of the mat under my treadmill I got the mat for and you can see that it has some indentations from it when I put the treadmill in upright position, but it still holds together well.

I bought this to protect my hardwood floor from my treadmill's feet & wheels. This is the perfect size for my Sole F80. It's not super thick or stiff, so rolling the treadmill around to get it situated did cause it to bunch up a little, which is why I docked it 1 star. I won't be moving the treadmill around, so no big deal once I got it situated and flat under the feet/wheels. We'll see how it holds up. It lays flat without the corners trying to roll up on it's own. Just had to lay flat for a few days once unrolling.

Nice size, I’m using it for under my sole treadmill, beats the price they wanted for theirs and seems like it’ll last awhile. It does not smell and was easy to roll out.

I purchased this to protect my floor from my spin bike. It is a little thin, but it does its job perfectly. I often drag the bike to different areas of my living room with the mat underneath and it never causes any damage to my flooring. I would purchase this item again.

Getting a treadmill mat was suggested to me by a tech that came out to work on my treadmill. For one, he stated that a mat could help prevent carpet fibers from being sucked up into the motor. Ok, well and good for that. I'll say that this mat helps my treadmill operate more quietly when I run on it. As well, though I didn't have a stability issue previously, the treadmill seems even more stable.I've seen reviews on other mats that stated the mat had an odor or it took effort to make it lay flat. After receiving the mat I laid it out, placed items around its perimeter and left them there overnight just to ensure it would lay flat. No odors or issues with it not being foldable.

This is the perfect size for my roll up treadmill. It fits nicely in it and good quality so far.

Using it with a stair stepper. It makes too much noise when I exercise on it.
