Don't let any negative reviews sway you from adding this to your gear, if it's what you're after of course. The quality is true Napier even though this tent does appear pretty basic in itself. The game changer for us was the connector sleeve to the truck tent making this thing like our "livingroom". It absoutely poured the week we went fishing and this connector tent did not leak with the rainfly attached properly. There was some moisture in the connector sleeve like some other reviews mentioned but this wasn't a big deal to empty/wipe dry. It was so nice to just hang out in here playing cards during the rain storms with the bed right next to you for a stretch out! The gear loft accessory is great and was sturdy enough to hold lanterns along with other quick grab items. There is an adjustable cord hanging from the top center and this is super sturdy for your battery lantern for interior lighting. The ease of set up was unreal - super quick and easy, just follow the instructions. Superior design with comfort in mind for sure! We took our cat with us on the trip and it acted like a safety barrier between the tent/bed and the outdoors. We were able to even have her scratch post in there along with a folding table and 2 camping chairs! The windows are very plain, just mesh but they are HUGE!! You will enjoy these in hot weather if there's a cross breeze - this tent is very well ventilated. Keep in mind the only way to cover for privacy is by putting the rainfly on (which is really easy to do even with one person). We didn't have any problems with the zippers on the entry door or sleeve/truck tent door. We didn't like how stiff/difficult one seemed at first and it turned out to be uneven pulling on the tent from the outside corner ground pegs. Once that was straightened out better the zipper opened/closed smoothly without support. If you have or are thinking of getting the Napier Sportz Truck Tent, get this too it's worth it!

I bought this to use as an SUV hatch tent. I have a 2017 Toyota Rav4 (so a smaller SUV) and it works PERFECT! All the other other decent SUV hatch tents are at least $150 more and much bigger and I wondered if I could make this work... and I can! I scooch the tent forward and put the hatch inside the tent body and it fits (doing it this way the hatch can't be fully extended up, but I'm short so that doesn't matter). The attachment flap isn't long enough on it's own to cover my full SUV hatch door, so scooted inside the tent it fits better, but you'll sacrifice some headroom. I have some heavy duty magnets to hold down the tent sides to my suv body where it curves and there is a gap. It's not perfect, but I camp solo all the time and I can set this up on my own in 5 min. It's easy to set up, roomy, and well made. Plenty of room inside for the portable dog crate for my 2 large dogs and my chair and table. I haven't taken it out yet, just set it up in the garage as soon as it arrived. I'm excited to take it out soon!

This tent will give us a lot more room when attached to our truck bed tent. Now we'll have a place to stand when we dress, store stuff out of the weather and we can make and enjoy our morning coffee when it's too cold to go outside. Really, it's amazing how much room this adds. Initial setup was not easy because the poles are ridiculously long and the way the tent was initially folded made it hard for me to find the opposite corners. I folded it up differently when I stored it so hopefully I won't be as confused next time. The door is a bit fiddly but I think it's just a matter of practice. We love it! The tents connect together perfectly and are very easy to set up. This one that sits on the ground is tall enough to walk around, change clothes, etc. and has plenty of room to store all the gear. We put a fan in it, aimed toward the truck bed, to keep us cool at night.
