I purchased this item to use as a reference when drawing/coloring gemstones. Any colorist understands the challenges that gemstones and crystals present. A stone's many facets require shading and highlighting in order to end up with a realistic result. I included 3 pictures to show the color gradation. This crystal is as shown. Each has excellent clarity. I was somewhat surprised by its weight which is a plus as to its quality. There were color choices. I selected what was labeled as purple and clear. Depending on your view angle it can appear as very pale purple / lilac. The size easily fits in my palm. The small silver-colored stand holds the stone well.

OMG! I really do love it, y'all. I felt I would- did NOT disappoint! It's beautiful & yes, it is super heavy. The stand is iddy biddy but WHO CARES??!!! The "Crown Jewel" is what matters. I'm tempted to splurge & order more, lol.

Nice and hefty. Looks great! I love the way it flashes different colours in the light. I bought it to be a random knickknack around my place. For the right person it would make an excellent gift. I'm tempted to use it as a paperweight at work, or buy a second one. It's just nice to look at. A red one would be cool too I bet.
