Far better than a regular dishrack!
It's well built, sturdy, collapsible and has a drain spout which goes from the actual counter to past the apron of the sink to remain tidy. For an apartment situation, the fact it can be collapsed to accommodate having only a few things in it is a bonus in that itmakes limited counter space less visually cluttered, AND the drain board isn't sitting right on the countertop, getting all yucky. Just buy it.

Almost Perfect
This product is great for someone with a small or large space looking to use a neat drying rack. I love the drainage into the sink and the adjustable sizing. My only two nit-picks would be that it’s a bit hard to clean (we have hard water, so it stains easily and is hard to get off) and the utensil location. I feel like it should be built in to the end. Otherwise, great buy!

Great
I love that it's adjustable and holds a lot of dishes. It is well made and looks good on my counter.

No more damp dish pads
I like this because I don't like the "always damp" dish drying pads on my counter. It could drain a little better but all it takes is a quick tilt and the water drains.

Small and not very sturdy
The pictures make it seem a lot sturdier and better quality than it is. Its not necessarily cheaply made but its wiggles a lot. I thought the expandability of it would be awesome but i always have to keep it fully extended. You can only fit like 4 cups whens its collapse. When its fully extended its still kinda small. If you wash and put away your dishes after every meal then this is a fine size. But if you wash two days worth of dishes (for 2 people) then this is too small. If you have a family of 4 i would say this is probably way too small for you. Also the utensil holder could be bigger.

Just Right!
I recently had a kitchen update that included a new farmers sink, butcher block countertops, new cabinets - and a dishwasher - the 1st my 70 year old house has ever had. (I have a lot of vintage dishes and glassware and thus had/have not a lot of need for a dishwasher but knew that I needed to install one for when/ever we sell our home.)In that update I lost my 70 year old double sink that I had used one side of to dry dishes in.This rack was/is the PERFECT replacement. I love that it expands and contracts, and that it has a slight lift in order to drain -- although I will be adding a couple of those stick on felt bits to raise the higher end just a bit more.I've had it for a couple of months now, and have cleaned it just once -- if you have any minerals in your water you'll need to wipe it down occasionally.I am VERY pleased with this drying rack and recommend it!

Terrible design
This is the most poorly designed dish drainer I have ever had the misfortune to use. The spaces that are supposed to hold up plates are too far apart, consequently, I cannot get all the dishes in at one time. They hold up large dinner plates very well, but are terrible for medium size plates. It takes all kinds of creative positioning to make them stand at all. And forget cereal bowls. They refuse to stand at all. There is no safe place to put wine glasses, and I use them often. The front part of the drain has no rack, no dishes sat right on the base. Consequently they never dried. Fortunately I had a cake rack that fit, and keeps dishes off the base. Water never drains from this rack. We tried boosting the rear on some foam rubber, and water still collects in that strange little spout that supposedly drains the water, but it works very poorly. Water collects on that spout and if one forgets to wipe it constantly, it is a bacteria bath. I wish I had thought to try this thing out dry, and I would have found all these negative points and shipped it back immediately. Now I am stuck with the blasted thing until I can find a decent replacement. Wish I'd kept my old cheap dish drainer.
