Good works great came in the package as new charger. Not a reman or fake one. And I only bought this because I lost the original years ago and then I lost a spare one that I had that also worked for the DS light so had to fix it somehow

IT WORKS! A MUST HAVE FOR THE NEW NINTENDO 3DS XL!!I dislike that Nintendo doesn't include a charging cable with their new 3DS XL. I purchased two New Nintendo 3DS XL (Galaxy & Black) without knowing that fact -- not purchased on Amazon. Imagine the shock I was in when I opened my new consoles and couldn't find a single charging cable. I initially thought someone had stolen my chargers from both 3DS XL. I was close to returning the consoles, when I caught on the back that it did not come with a charger. I was blown away (in a bad way). How was I suppose to play my 3DS when I couldn't charge it?Luckily, my brother had a spare charger I could borrowed until this charger came. Before purchasing this charger, I had thoughts of purchasing other generic chargers (as they all looked the same). However, I decided to give this charger a try since it was branded for Nintendo 3DS consoles and was slightly cheaper than in store. Already upset that the console did not include a charger, I didn't want to go through the trouble of finding out that a generic charger didn't fit properly or wouldn't work, etc.When the charger arrived, it put it to use right away and returned my brother's charger. It fits and charges both my new 3DS XL properly. It is also identical to the DSI charger my brother lend me. This charger is compatible with 3DS, 3DS XL, and DSI. The cable is approximately 6ft long and light weight.

The box lists all the different versions of 3DS it works with it. This is very good and must buy if you need a power plug! The box lists: New Nintendo 3DS XL, New Nintendo 2DS XL, Nintendo 3DS XL, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 2DS.

I was looking to get a new cable for my used “New” 3DSxl and I knew some of the off brand ones which were around the same price had some hit or miss reviews on them. This is a genuine charger from Nintendo and it works just as intended. I was glad that I didn’t need to purchase straight from Nintendo and wait the long time for shipping and could get this in a few days. Highly recommend for anyone in need of a new charger for the “New” 3DS XL

Since when did Nintendo start charging for a 3DS cable by itself? Having purchased the Nintendo 3DS XL Hyrule Gold Limited Edition, I was ready to bust open the box and start playing immediately. Sadly, I had to wait a little longer before getting my full gaming on - the system didn't come with a charging cable.Once the cable arrived, I will say, it works and it works well. My 3DS charges quickly, the cable is long enough for me to charge the system while playing a game on the couch, and most importantly - it charges my 3DS period. When I need to get my game on, this charger works just fine to get things going. Overall, great purchase because now I can play Legend of Zelda without worrying that my system will turn on mid dungeon, but really Nintendo - couldn't you including with game console purchase?

I'm glad that I finally found a good charger for my devices. Most of the third party chargers are trash and break within 5 business days, so I was really shocked when I found one sponsored by Nintendo. I only wish that since the devices are 8-10 years old, that the charger was a little cheaper than the asking price but all in all, it gets the job done.
