Not too bad of an installation. Removed the plastic shroud from the fan/radiator and that gave access to the top of the steering gear which made removing the old seals much less of a chore. Loosened the nut on the shaft, raised the front wheels off the ground, removed the pitman shaft from the box, pushed out the lower seal, removed the snap ring, removed the old seal, scrubbed and polished the bore and shaft with a 3M pad, re-assembled, filled and bled the system. At first I was getting a drip from the shaft/seal after installation but that went away quickly -- not sure of the cause but all is good since then. A few thousand miles on it now.

It did the job, no more leaking of fluid.
Good quality parts through the installation illustrations could be better. the previous rebuild installed the seal in the wrong direction. the spring part of the seal should be facing the gearbox.

Didnt fit my 2002 Wrangler box.
This kit did NOT fit my 2002 Wrangler. The seal OD and ID's appeared to be good, but the stack height of both seals, teflon washer, and steel washer were too high for the cavity in the steering box (approx 0.050" OHL). Amazon's vehicle selection states that it does fit, but so do others ive looked at, so i am not sure that it is Amazon's fault. I am forced to return my kit and buy the seal separately, SKF 12370, which replaces the seal that i pulled out of my steering box that had part number 5683373 on it.
