I usually help my husband cut his beard and, as an untrained person it is really hard to keep the lines straight and both sides of his beard even. This made it SO much easier! I actually got straight, even lines on both sides and did not have to worry about accidentally overcorrecting. It was seriously a game changer.

I ordered this beard-shaper for a member of my household who sports a full beard most of the time, and who's quite meticulous about keeping it tight and well-groomed. I thus have it on good authority that it's a very useful tool for this. The bottom line is that this beard-shaper allows for faster line-ups with few (if any) errors, enabling the user to maintain that barber-shop fresh look on a more or less daily basis with minimal investment of time and energy. For those who like to keep up well-groomed and shape looking facial hair while avoiding the screw-ups that force periodic clean shaves it definitely is worth the little bit of money asked for it.

My wife always complains about my beard so I thought that this might help to shape it up a little bit. I really like the concept. The only thing is that the product is just a little too difficult to use. By that I mean that it's hard to hold this steady and at the same time shave. At least in my opinion. This may have been a little easier to use if it had had some sort of elastic or something to hold it in place better. I did like the fact that this did have a deal on the package to show if it had been opened. So, in the end, this product just wasn't for me.

This could’ve been a very great convenient product. Number one, this thing is not for every size head/face. I have a small head small face and this thing doesn’t line up as well with my beard, I have to adjust it to make the shape up line up every few angles. I got the hang of it and somewhat I create a decent lineup. If you have a small head look for a smaller one. overall it’s not as bad. Almost perfect!

I have a similar tool (never really use it) but it's flat. So I was curious to try this more 3d model out and see if I would like it better. Truth is I found this model harder and more awkward to use. The way it protrudes from your cheek/jaw makes it easy more difficult to get a trimmer/razor in there. Like most, I only have two hands so I couldn't get a picture of exactly what I'm talking about. I will try to get a pic when I have someone else available to help take it... That said, this might be better suited for someone to use on you and line up your beard but definitely not that easy to use yourself which I think is supposed to be the main purpose.

This is a very inexpensive way to shape your beard, instead of paying $20 each visit to your barber to get that clean look, all you need to do is push it as hard as you can to your face and use your razor or your machine and puch againest the edges of this shaper, other wise it will not work properly and you'll end up with irregular lines.
