I purchased this book to teach my granddaughter some basic card tricks as she is now enjoying playing cards. From an avid card player, I found this book difficult to understand.

I bought her cards from Shutterfly w/ her pic on them and this book to go with it. I told her I want to see some cool tricks next time I see her.

Performing card tricks can easily become a lifelong hobby. This little book is a pretty good intoduction. The material is great for beginners but I wouldn't recommend if you already have a basic understanding of card sleights. The tricks are organized into sequences and are decent little routines. The Soulmates sequence is very good. These are classic card tricks that have been around for awhile. Crediting the creators would could have been added to round out the material. Royal Road to Card Magic by Hugard should be the next stop.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Just got this book in started looking through it. It is a very good beginners book on learning card magic tricks. This is going into my magic library.

Easy to follow instructions, obviously they need a bit of practice some more that others. But great book for beginners magic and once you master the techniques, you can adapt the tricks to suit you and your audience.
