Much less supportive than previous models.
I have ALWAYS bought Asics GT Series size 6 running shoes, as long as I can remember. These felt too big, so tried 5.5's - they were too tight, so went back to 6's. Previously I have always felt supported and comfortable, and the usual niggles as I age have never prevented my exercising - generally doing 6-10 miles 4-5 times a week.On this model the 6s are bigger heel to toe along the sole, and considerably wider than previous shoes. The sole also picks up way more earth cross-country. The uppers are much less supportive over the foot and are looser around the heel than on previous models, and the whole feel is looser and less satisfactory.I have taken it easy in running in, but now have sore spots on my feet and painful achilles on both legs. Sadly these are going out/to a different home and I will be hoping for a return to form when I choose the next pair!

Holes after a couple of months
My toenails aren't long but after a couple of months of running 10-15km per week on flat ground, the fabric over the toe area began to wear out and now I can see my socks through the shoe. I fear it won't be long until my toes are poking through. Shame as my last pair of Asics running shoes lasted in excess of 5 years. Disappointed.

They are good for me, quite confortable and very light.
Went a bit larger but still good fit, not everybodys feet are the same it is personal choice.

Great pair of supportive Trainers
Bought these for my 16 year old daughter who has terrible problems with flat arches. So far these seem to be the perfect answer to her woes. As usual with ASIC's trainers we ordered a half size up and the fit is great. Very pleased!!
