Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good value. Decent height. With the stand fully extended it reaches 5’ high from the floor to the pivot point on the boom. With the boom fully extended vertically it adds two more feet for a height of 7’ from the floor to the threads for the mic clip. Great for use with large diaphragm mics doing group recordings. With the boom fully extended horizontally it’s 2’ from the center of the stand and that’s with a Shure SM58 mic at the end. In this extreme position make sure one of the tripod legs is pointing towards the mic for stability. In all for occasional or light to moderate daily use, these stands are easy to set up and take down. One plus are the included mic cables. Can’t have enough My only gripe is that you can’t unscrew the boom from the mic stand itself, that it my hands are so weak and a gorilla assembled it lol!! But it folds up nice and tight in the added case. Would be nicer if the case was a couple inches longer to accommodate not having to remove the mic clips but then again if you could store with mic clips mounted, one solid bump and those plastic clips are gone. Takes less than a minute to unthread them and toss it in the bag.

Son muy altos (2 m), y están muy bien construidos. Cada uno incluye un cable de micrófono XLR-XLR de 6 m y un adaptador para clip. These are excellent stands . And comes with really sturdy bag which makes it easier to carry them . Carrying microphone stands is always difficult when there are multiple stands . Sadly no one makes microphone bags . This also comes with 3 microphone cables . So the price is totally worth it . I have another version of this stand Samson MK 10 which I have been using for 7 years and they are still going strong . So any microphone stand by Samson gets my vote .
