AC Compressor Control Solenoid Valve for SANDEN PXE14 PXE16 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA AUDI TIGUAN TOURAN

I installed this in a 2008 VW jetta .Works great .Just like OEM .I used AC lube to condition the orings prior to instillation .I also cleaned the bore and applied AC oil to it before install .Removing the old one was a real fight ,I broke it and used front cutting channel locks to remove .

A/C would work intermittently. VW dealer said it was the compressor and gave a $1000 quote to replace. Some quick research revealed the control valve was the likely culprit. I figured I would give it a try, nothing to loose. WOW! Never knew air could blow this cold and consistently too! Fixed the problem for under $250 (this part plus $198 for ac shop to remove refrigerant, remove and replace this valve, pull vacuum, re-charge system). This part was a perfect fit for my 2013 VW Jetta TDI.

Recharge the a/c system after installation the a/c started to work perfect, if you have intermittent a/c this is your part to replace before you spend $$$ on replacing the a/c compressor.

If you have a VW with a sanden compressor that takes several minutes ( sometimes 30 or so) to turn on or sometimes it doesn’t seem to turn off or properly control temperature. Replace this valve. I have personally used this valve on my car and replaced it on a few of my customer’s cars with 100 percent success. It will not fix an ac system that does not blow cold enough but will fix the issues discribed above. Great buy, cheap fix.

If you have intermittent issues with your A/C such as starting hot then going cool but not really cool, this is the part you need. You will need to flush your a/c system and have this installed then refill your system and I promise your a/c will blow cold again. I went months determining what the issue was and this little part fixed it. Five mechanics told me the compressor but it was not the compressor. Order it. High quality and very durable. I went from having 75 degree on and off a/c when I was driving to all the time cold 34 degree temp. I didn't actually track the temp but I assure you it is blistering cold!!!!!!

The control valve works fine for one week and then failed. Contacted the company responded to four different emails they never accepted responsibility. Instead of taking the feedback from a professional who's been in the business for 45 years they chose to go to the path of parts can't fail. Instead of getting a customer who would probably buy at least five a month for this application they get a bad review. Do not buy this item unless you like comebacks and doing things twice for no compensation

2009 Volkswagen Jetta. Lived with lesser air conditioning for the last few years just thought it was a low performer in the A/C department. Wow was I wrong. my A/C guy vacuumed out all the 134a and I removed and replaced this. Hard to remove the old one but once its out easy to install the new one. Used a rental Vaccum pump for 45 minutes to dry the system out and installed the measured amount of 134a back into the system.RESULT::: Immediate ultra cold A/C from the vents no delay no 1/2 job. The compressor is now functioning at the 100% it should have been the whole time... Have to turn those vents away now.. But in the southern california desert today it is 117 degrees in late July and I am happy happy happy....
