This is my second set..These heat tents fit the 5050 grill but they do not line up on the original brackets very well, even with some slight reshaping. I went ahead and ordered new brackets with this set since the originals were rotted out and it all fit like factory. Wish I would have done that last time but anyways, these tents are thicker, better quality and lasted longer than the originals that came with the grill so they were worth buying again... Get the brackets too if you buy these, It just all works better, your going to need them eventually...if not already...

For the price, it's a great deal, but I was disappointed that all three of the flavorizer bars I received were just about 1/8" - 1/4" shorter than the original flavorizer bars for my Char Griller 3001. One of the bars required me to use a pliers to bend the mounting point on the grill. The other two were able to be pushed on.The snug fit isn't bad, necessarily, but I anticipate it being a hassle long term since I frequently remove the bars for a water pan when grilling/smoking ribs in the grill. I may end up bending the other two mounting points as well to make that task a bit easier.Again, for the price - this seems well worth it and I'd still recommend these as long as you understand that you may need to do a little adjusting to make them fit.

A perfect fit for my aging Char-Griller 3001. My heat plates and support brackets had completely rusted out, while the rest of the grill remained fully serviceable. Took about an hour to install these, a little longer than I expected, but I had to drill out some of the rusty screws holding what was left of my old brackets. While mounting hardware (screws, bolts and washers) was included, there were no screws to attach the end of the gas burners to the brackets. I was able to improvise with some spare hardware at home until I get a chance to get better screws.These brackets, and a new set of budget enamel heat plates, appear to have my Char-Griller back on track for another year or two, maybe more, years of service.

I finally installed these this week. They fit perfectly. I am curious to see how they react to the cast iron grill and will be watching for rust where the two metals touch. I also wish they had included the small screws that attach the burners to the back brackets. My burners are just resting on them unitl I can make it to the hardware store. However, my heat shields are now being properly held in place again and my grill looks in much better shape!

Much better quality than the carbon steel originals. Originals were so badly rusted that some of the bolts had to be ground off. Stainless nuts and bolts come with the brackets. The only thing I had to get at the hardware store was replacement screws to attach the burners to the rear brackets. Everything else fit perfectly!

The parts worked on my 5050 model Chargriller. The original parts were a thicker gauge steel, and the brackets were slightly smaller. However they did fit my grill, and I had bought separate stainless steel plates that fit just fine. Because of the thinner steel on the brackets, I figure I’m going to have replace these sooner than the original brackets. That’s why only three stars, but for the price and minimal repair time to keep my original investment in my grill, it was worth every penny. We’ve used the grill a couple of times since the replacement and all is working just fine!

THIS kit is the correct kit for the Char Griller 3001, and did include the mounting screws for the brackets, however it did not include any screws for securing the burner tubes to the new brackets. Had to come up with a few screws, as the originals were seized, and the heads stripped when attempting to remove them. Also, after ordering, and installing, they popped up on my feed for 3bux cheaper on prime from another seller. Otherwise happy with the kit.

Came on time, old parts are a bit difficult to remove. So be ready to work to get off old ones. But its worth having the new ones on . I also purchased other parts to upgraded my 5050 CharGriller it works like new. It's 8 years old. I sent under $60 . Now have my $390 grill working New again, hopefully another 8years !!!!
