Really useful for opening packages and cutting down cardboard boxes. Used many times and still no issues with the blade

I love this! Previously used either a pen knife or Stanley knife for opening packages. But with toddlers, didnt quite feel safe. This is more like a file. Or a dual sided butter knife. There is a trick to slicing cardboard. Let the knife do the work, let the serrations do their work. When you get it, goes through like butter.

This is a safer tool than a regular box cutter or razor blade! I decided to try this out as my box cutter was getting worn out and I've had one too many close calls. This product has serrated blade which cut box / tape like butter! The handle is nice while not ergonomic, offers a good size to get a decent grip when cutting boxes open. The only gripe with this and any box cutter is the blade will get the gummy residue of tape so you will need to clean it off as it gets sticky. Overall this is a great product and safer option compared to a box cutter.
