This is a great product to culture microalgae. In the past I've used Miracle Gro with mostly failure where the culture would completely crash relatively quickly. This nannochloropsis culture got dark quickly and has remained alive for more than a 3 weeks now, there's a power head in there that you cant even see anymore.

Great for growing my phyto for my reef. Thank you to the seller for using biodegradable peanuts for packaging, had fun melting them.

I learned this the hard way- you must use 2x the suggested amount in order for your phytoplankton to thrive. Whenever I use only the suggested amount the whole batch dies

I was able to quickly ramp up a very small Chlorella culture in days. Amazing product.

Great results! I spoke with David and he is really knowledgeable and has answered all my questions quickly and in detail. I wouldn’t hestitate to buy again. He also sells phytoplankton, which is excellent! I would recommend he sell copepods and rotifers, but to each their own. I would buy them if he did.
