Not quite like Mom's home cooking
We got this for our family roadtrip out to Mt Rushmore for a quick meal idea on long drive days. General consensus was so-so. Taste was good but texture was off on the chicken meal.( mushy) but the rest were adequate. We made 3 of the packs for our family of 5 with teenagers and there was more than we could finish. Secret here is add a little less water than recommend and stir very well along the bottom. The container was great and is usable for other things when meals are gone. Packaging is really nice and compact.Very good value for the money. I'd buy again and recommend for emergency or how we used them.

Good bucket.
It’s as advertised, went camping out and brought this along, fed a friend and myself for 3 days.

Cheap for a reason
The bucket is very nice, food inside it not so much. Mac and cheese, stroganoff and Alfredo are edible if you add your own seasonings. The rest of the menu I suggest you starve yourself for a few days and maybe then you will be able to choke it down or maybe feed it to your dog if you don’t like your dog. ( please do not feed it to your dog)Bottom line they taste terrible and that’s why it’s cheap.

Some good and some bad
Some of the meals are amazing, and some not so much. The spicy noodles are really spicy. The creamy chicken and pasta needs more seasoning and the peas don't fully dehydrate after 15 mins. The lasagna is amazing tho. Still a good product for the cost.

Just not very tasty even for dehydrated food
You always expect to lose some flavor in trade for the convenience and weight reduction but this bucket with 80% tested just lacks taste. The few snacks that dont need rehydration are very good but the meals are blah at best, no amount of salt and pepper can save them. The few spicy products are very very spicy for even a spice lover.
