I used the book to teach my kids!

This book arrived just in time for my grandsons Birthday. He lives in the desert and got a tortoise for his Birthday and I thought the fable would be extra cute.

Great full page color picture illustrations on each page and an easy to read story with the lesson readily learned in the fable. A quality paper back book with medium durable stock paper for pages and a heavier stock glossy cover. Shipped in timely manner and no damage to books.

This is a great mentor text for my classroom.

Sticks to the classic story I grew up to.

I like the quality of the book. Well made and I like the author's interpretation of the story and the illustrator's illustrations.
