Rock solid. Exactly what you need from a serious telescope tripod
This tripod is a work of art. It is well made and has a clean finish. It is rock solid with my dual mounted 4” and 5” refractors on a Celestron CGX II mount. That’s a nearly 100 lbs of equipment with all the accessories and this tripod holds it steady with no problem. I would definitely buy this again. Just be aware. This is considerably heavier than the aluminum tripods most of us are used to.
