Love!!
We bought this for our 9 year old at the time and she wears it every day. Over the summer someone stole it at the pool and she wanted another one right away. She’s 10 now and she still loves wearing it. I think it’s perfect for her age group and keeps her moving to meet her goals.

App and software highly annoying for the Acer 3
Trying to set up my daughter’s account for her today. The app tries to push Google emails and family set up on you instead of just allowing your child to make an account and get to moving.Instructions on how to do this are extremely convoluted and unhelpful. Google instructions on the matter refer you to the Google Play Store or to your Android device settings. Unhelpful if you have iOS.I figured a way around it by logging into my own personal Fitbit account on my personal device/phone, adding a child from there, then logging into the kids device with my personal Fitbit profile, then switching over to the child’s profile.Absolutely outrageous in this day and age for it to be that difficult. It took me, as a reasonably tech savvy person a good 30 minutes to get this set up, when it should really have been wearable right out of the box. Don’t allow kids with the Acer device to make purchases. Is it really that hard?I wish I’d just gotten her the regular adult device.(As an aside, I did succeed in making a Google family and adding my daughter to the family. In the Fitbit app the “add child” link was broken and she never appeared in the app to load her profile, even after doing all that. If some of this is just me being frustrated late at night, not all of it is. This should not have been an issue.)

Setting it up
People have had many issues setting up the family account and just send it back after not solving the problem. I had the same problem, but all you have to do it make sure your kids account is on your kids phone and make sure you have the fit bit app on theirs, set up and ready, if you do then you should have no problem setting everything up. Overall it is a great watch to have. I bought it for my little sister for her birthday and she’s loved it ever since. 10/10 But after a while of them growing up with the fit bit just buy them an Apple Watch.

Decent pedometer, terrible band.
Cute pedometer for littles. My daughter is 6 and has been begging for a fitbit like mommy and daddy have. It is just the right size for her tiny wrist, however she had a reaction to the silicone band. At first I thought the watch burned her but we got a new band and she has been wearing it the same amount of time and the skin iritation and mark is gone and she hasn't gotten another. We originally got it to see her sleep patterns. Granted it has no technology to really tell if they are asleep and no HR monitor it just guesses by lack of movement. When she wakes up she can look at it and easily read if it is time to wake up or if she needs to roll back over. She also loves trying to beat daddy in his daily steps but he is very active at work and not the easiest to surpass, but she still tries her hard.Overall I give it a 4. She loves it, only takes it off to charge it or when she washes her hands due to the cloth band we got for it. (She doesn't like a wet band on her wrist)

Kids love it
Good nice features help track activities for kids. The band worn out quickly but they helped to replace it within the warranty period.

Perfect for my 6 year old
The Fitbit app is horrible and could use a major UX upgrade. However, my son is 6 so my need to use the app for anything is very minimal (thankfully). My son loves this watch. He has small wrists and it fits him on the smallest slat. So there is plenty of room to grow and still use the band it came with. The battery lasts a long time! After the first days it was still in the 90% range. My boys (8 & 6) love to compete on how many steps they can get in a day and I love the how it encourages them to be active.
