My best chap stick but it had to get I love the fact that it leaves my lips smooth and pink

I already love the shine and feel of the crystal clear version of baby lips, now that I've tried this glow balm, I love the same shine and feel but also love the extra bit of color they dye my lips. Weirdly enough, though they add the merest barely perceptible hint of color, it actually makes a huge difference when I put lipstick on over the top, it brightens up the shade to make it appear quite different. I'd been on the hunt for the perfect fuschia-red lipstick and was continually disappointed by how brick-esh or dull they all looked - but now that I've lightly 'dyed' my lips with this glow balm - all my red lipsticks have the perfect bright intense retro red that I was trying for. and my lips are SUPER moist and soft when I prep them with this before putting the matte lipstick on.

Pros - Soft application - Gives my lip a hint of pink and shine (for that effortless natural look) - Light scent of vanilla? It's nice and subtle - Have to reapply about every 4 hours for the color (which I think is reasonable) Cons - Not very moisturizing as my lips felt dry within a couple of hours In all, I would get this for the on the whim subtle pink coloring. I enjoy that it is subtle and easy to apply. Do make sure to be careful when you apply the lip balm as the coloring can get on the area around your lip!

Good quality and smell good

I like this because it's a cheaper alternative to other balms on the market that enhance your natural lip color. It goes on smoothly and creates a very natural look for those who don't like to wear lipstick. I do have lots of lipsticks but also like a good lip balm anytime. Like all balms this needs frequent application, but since I've found that all balms are basically the same, why not get one at a bargain price? It works just as well, softens my lips, and tastes good like the ones in the $20-30 range. Score one for L'Oreal!

I really don’t know what all these reviews are talking about with “cotton candy flavor” because I’ve never had a babylips product that tasted like anything... that being said, babylips lip balms always smell really nice and this one has a sugary scent to it. I like that it is glossy on the lips without being sticky, and that it adjusts to your skin’s pH. It goes on clear, and adjusts to a complementary pink. My pink is very subtle and makes my lips look a little healthier. This one is called “glow” for a reason- it makes the lips look bright and radient on the skin without being an unnatural color. Great for a subtle or natural look on the lips, ideal for those that want a slight little oomph without having to actually put on lipstick or to reapply.

I’m not really sure what the hype is all about with these glorified Chapstick’s. They are cuter than the Chapstick‘s but do not add a hint of color as they claim to do. They are wider in circumference and creamier in texture than the popular ones and not quite as waxy and only about .30 more.I guess it’s an OK purchase if using a more “feminine” version of a lip balm matters to you. Suffice it to say that I’ll keep the 3 I bought & will likely continue purchasing them because other girly lip balms tend to not work or even chap my lips on their own. This balm does work for moisturizing, just don’t expect any tint.
