I thought they were pretty tasteless, but that was my mistake when I put them in a little bit of water and microwave them they puffed up had a nice texture and plenty of flavor

Used these in chicken tacos. Such a great burst of flavor when cooked with the chicken.

From what I read the ratio is 7 lbs or more fresh for 1 lb of dry. So a medium large tomato fresh of 7 ounce size would be equal to 1 ounce or about 28 grams of dried tomato. Therefore this 16 ounces jar of tomatoes is equal to 16 fresh raw tomatoes. The cost of the fresh tomatoes retail that goes into this product costing $35 for 1 lb jar then is 7 tomatoes x approx $2 per lb for fresh equals $14. So for the same equivalent of fresh tomatoes this cost over 2x what you pay for the fresh. Is that fair? Well, consider that the fancy reusable jar cost about $1.50 bulk plus label and and consider the extra labor and energy to prepare the tomatoes, sort and cut and package into a box which also costs money, and it is a fair price but a lot more expensive than a quality fresh tomato. If you are out camping though or just like the flavor it is not really expensive for a convenient light weight food item. And a tomato has a lot of healthy fiber and vitamins etc. Verdict is these are good product for the money IMHO.

I think these are great for soup and and salad wants to hydrated. I would buy them again. They are kind of expensive though.

These are delicious, so flavorful and I’m happy there’s no added salt. I want to buy again and again but the price at $40 is so steep that it’ll have to just be a rare treat.

I use this product to make rice and everybody loves it. This is an awesome product keeps me from buying fresh vegetables that don’t last as long so thank you for a great product.
