Good flavour and fragrance
I have grown up eating fresh matsutake mushrooms with nearly everything. Rice, pasta, soup, etc.These dried mushrooms are not as fragrant as the fresh mushrooms but much better than what I expected.They were clean and the flavour was not the best of matsutake but definitely good.

Did not find anything special regarding this mushroom except the high price point. The aroma and texture are similar to other mushrooms.
