I always wet shave and normally 6 days out of 7. I had an old battery shaver for occasional use but that finally expired recently so I bought the Panasonic. I don't intend to stop wet shaving but I keep this one to hand in the shower and find it useful for the odd weekend shave when I can't be bothered with the brush and foam or for getting in the under-nose area where it can be difficult to reach with a blade. I like being able to use it wet and it's also great that it's rechargeable. It's quite small and would be good for travelling with. Because I shave nearly every day I haven't tried it on more than two days' growth and then it coped fine. Find it's at its best with long, slow strokes. It's not as close as a blade but it's perfectly fine; I'd even be prepared to use it in the week, but then I don't have a particularly heavy beard so I can get away with it. And finally the trimmer is very useful to square off sideburns when they get untidy. I like it though it won't replace blades for me (nor was it intended to).
