This lid is a perfect fit for my 10" ceramic frying pan. (Which was not made by Ozeri.) Yes, the handle was on the inside of the lid when received. That's the sensible way to package it to minimize the possibility of damage during transport. It was very easy to unscrew the lid and install it on the top. The only drawback I can see is that putting the lid in a dishwasher is not recommended. But the fry pan also must be handwashed.

Fantastic little lid. I will gladly order the other sizes in the future. The ergonomic handle on top is very comfortable to hold and the little steam vent is brilliant. Having used this now I can't imagine lids without the vent. It is just what is needed to keep foods juicy without letting too much water drip inside a fry pan. I am using this with the Cuisinart 722-20 Chef's Classic Stainless 8-Inch Open Skillet and the fit is perfect. I read some reviews that it doesn't fit all pans which I could see as there would be no way for 1 cover to fit everything universally as even a small difference in design from manufacturer to manufacturer can result in the lip being different on different pans. I was ok with that as long as it mostly covered since I didn't have an 8 inch lid. As it turned out the fit is so perfect it almost feels custom made. I am super happy to recommend this product. edit 8/7/2014: I may have spoken too soon about the almost custom fit of the lid. Just noticed that it does leave a little gap. It looked snug on the front (side near me) but doesn't fit quite as tight all around. However, the gap is a very narrow one and the fit is still more than sufficient for an 8 inch skillet and whatever you can think to make in it so it is still a 5 star item for me.

Happy with it. It seems to be just slightly larger than the blue diamond nonstick frypan I got it as a replacement for.

Bought this to fit one of our 10" frying pans and am so glad I did; it fits perfectly and is nicely weighted. It's all glass, so you can see what's cooking, and the vent on the side lets out steam so there are no spills. The only little fly in the ointment is that the screw holding the handle on the lid comes loose easily and I have to get out the screwdriver to retighten. However, it's worth it to have such a high-quality glass lid.

I like to cook Pork Chops, stir fry, Chicken and things that normally splatter all over the top of the stove. I've been looking everywhere for a nice glass top with a steam hole and until I ran into these, I have had to settle for ones without holes. I even tried modifying one without a hole by using a diamond tip drill bit ... but the glass shattered #$!!@# ... OH WELL! Guess that experiment didn't work! Cooking Port Chops with a solid top results in a steamed chops...LOL ... because it usually winds up boiling the Pork Chops from condensation since there is no where for the liquid to escape. ...and when you take the lid off, all that liquid that had collected under the cover winds up on top of the stove ... aaaargh! Then you still have to finish pan frying the chops to make it look and taste right. The worst part is having to clean my NEW EXPENSIVE glass top stove and the final straw is a stain that I haven't been able to remove. I've even tried scraping it off with a razor blade but it's still there ... MAJOR BUMMER! Just got this top a week ago and MAN what a difference! No more steaming the chops first, then frying them and best of all ... the top of the stove remains clean. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Ozeri Fry Pan Lid. Will be ordering a couple more in the next two weeks ... Next up Stir fry Tri Tip with mushrooms and veggies ... Yummy! OH ... and this thing is well made, heavy duty ... should last a very long time!

I paid more for the lid than I did two frying pans, but that seems how manufacturers sell frying pans these days. Once you get past the price the lid is amazing. It fits perfectly and the vent keeps things from boiling over. It is well made, easy to clean and looks nice. I'm sure I'll get years of use with this lid. Highly recommend it!

This lid looks good, fits well, appears well made, and the screw looks like it won't rust or fall off like most cheaper variants on the market. This would make a good choice if you want to avoid the poorly made cheaper versions flooding the market, or if you can't justify paying a whopping £30-40 for a similar lid made by renown manufacturers like WMF or Scanpan.

Je m'en sert pour cuisiner tout un tas de préparations culinaires, dont les confitures bien sûr. Le matériau est bien en acier inoxydable 18/10, donc de la série 300; pour vérifier, j'ai placé un petit aimant sur l'inox. J'ai apprécié les graduations à l'intérieur qui donne le niveau en litre du liquide qu'on y met. J'ai acheté avec un couvercle en verre Ozeri de 30 cm qui s'adapte parfaitement. Je suis très satisfait de mon achat

Ein schickes Teil, passend für die Ozeri Wokpfanne. Ich habe beides zusammen gekauft und mich gefragt ob ich nicht ein statt des Ozeri Deckels ein Billigteil bestellen soll, war dann aber von der guten Qualität und dem schicken Design überrascht. Auch wenn nun einige wieder herummäkeln werden, warum die recht teure Premium-Wokpfanne nich gleich mit dem schicken Deckel geliefert wird, finde ich dass sich die Investition lohnt. Der Deckel hat ein großes Entlüftungsloch, einen soliden Edelstahlrand und einen sehr modernen schicken Kunststoffgriff und passt eben auch genau auf die Pfanne. Teuer aber perfekt.

Excelente calidad y material. Le quedó perfecto a un sartén de 26cm de una marca similar, ayuda a una cocción mas rápida y evita salpicaduras.
