Fantastic little lid. I will gladly order the other sizes in the future. The ergonomic handle on top is very comfortable to hold and the little steam vent is brilliant. Having used this now I can't imagine lids without the vent. It is just what is needed to keep foods juicy without letting too much water drip inside a fry pan. I am using this with the Cuisinart 722-20 Chef's Classic Stainless 8-Inch Open Skillet and the fit is perfect. I read some reviews that it doesn't fit all pans which I could see as there would be no way for 1 cover to fit everything universally as even a small difference in design from manufacturer to manufacturer can result in the lip being different on different pans. I was ok with that as long as it mostly covered since I didn't have an 8 inch lid. As it turned out the fit is so perfect it almost feels custom made. I am super happy to recommend this product. edit 8/7/2014: I may have spoken too soon about the almost custom fit of the lid. Just noticed that it does leave a little gap. It looked snug on the front (side near me) but doesn't fit quite as tight all around. However, the gap is a very narrow one and the fit is still more than sufficient for an 8 inch skillet and whatever you can think to make in it so it is still a 5 star item for me.

This lid is a perfect fit for my 10" ceramic frying pan. (Which was not made by Ozeri.) Yes, the handle was on the inside of the lid when received. That's the sensible way to package it to minimize the possibility of damage during transport. It was very easy to unscrew the lid and install it on the top. The only drawback I can see is that putting the lid in a dishwasher is not recommended. But the fry pan also must be handwashed.

I bought the Ozeri Green Earth Frying Pan Lid for my Green Earth 10 inch frying pan. I absolutely love my Green Earth pan (I have the textured series), but was limited in what I could or would cook in it because without a lid, I got hit by grease pops and had a mess to clean up on the stove and the surrounding area. I personally think pans should include a lid and you shouldn't have to buy it separately. I had been eyeing this one and bought it when I saw there was a sale price offered. I am now getting much more use from my pan and I use both the pan and the lid at least once a day, sometimes more. The lid contains the splatters and allows my to keep an eye on the food without me getting hit with hot grease or oil. There is a vent in the lid and at first I thought it looked a little small and wondered if it would even be effective, but it has been great. The oval shape of the handle is comfortable to hold and keep a firm grip on the lid. The lid is lightweight and easy to handle. One thing I dislike is the lip/ring aroung the lid is metal and I'm not exactly thrilled that it wasn't made of a material more suited to the Grebulon coating on the pan. I have tried to be careful and haven't noticed it scratching the pan. There were already some scratches from my previous attempts to use a splatter screen and other lids when I needed a cover, but I haven't noticed that this is scratching it worse. I also wish it fit a bit more snug on the pan. There is a small amount of room for the lid to move around. Having a lid definitely makes it easier to cook and drain of juices or fats when needed and it does contain the splatters and mess that happen without it. At this time, I have had the lid for just about 3 months and haven't had any trouble with it. I have not used the lid in the over I haven't put it in the dishwasher and instead handwash because it's faster since I use the lid every day. It has cleaned up every single time and the glass has remained crystal clear. I love the pans and will be buying more of them. When I do, I won't have any hesitation about buying another lid as well.

Bought this to fit one of our 10" frying pans and am so glad I did; it fits perfectly and is nicely weighted. It's all glass, so you can see what's cooking, and the vent on the side lets out steam so there are no spills. The only little fly in the ointment is that the screw holding the handle on the lid comes loose easily and I have to get out the screwdriver to retighten. However, it's worth it to have such a high-quality glass lid.

This lid mostly fits my All-Clad 8-inch stainless steel pan, but not quite. But it does fit enough to trap the heat in the pan, so I am keeping it. 4 stars for the fit issue, but other than that, it is a very nice lid. It washes well and the small vent on the lid works well also. EDIT: I am knocking my four star rating to three stars because from what others have said about food stains getting stuck in the circular crevice on the inside of the lid is true and it is hard to wash out without fingernails which I do not have. So three stars for this product. But besides the food issue, the lid works well. EDIT 3/22/2017: It has been a year now and I am changing my rating fro 3 stars to 5 stars. The rust inside the corner of the lid hasn't destroyed the lid yet and the lid is still going strong! Now that is what I call durable!
