Puritan's Pride Premium Ultra Mega Biotin 10,000mcg, Dietary Supplement for Healthy Hair, Skin, Nails, and Energy Metabolism Support, 100 Day Supply, 100 Rapid Release Softgels

I use Puritan's Pride for almost all my vitamin purchases and all their products are affordable, high quality vitamins and supplements. Their Biotin is the only product that has improved the thickness and growth of my thinning hair. I am a senior and this is parts of the aging process, UGH! Once, I ran out of the Puritan's Pride and bought another brand. The hair growth stopped and I vowed to never use anything but Puritan's Pride Biotin! My hair stylist on Long Island, NY (where I lived my entire life until moving to Michigan 3 yrs ago) recommended Puritan's Pride Biotin to me almost 15 yrs ago for a thin spot in the front of my hair. I used their Biotin 5000 mcg soft gel caps 2x day initially for a few years and then dropped down to once a day. When I moved to Michigan I continued to order from Puritan's Pride, but my new hair stylist here recommended Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin and Nails (white bottle/pink & white label) so I bought a big bottle and used it for about 4 months. My hair thinned again, in the same spot by my part, and there was NO new little hairs growing! My finger nails were thinning and tearing, and the only thing that grew were my toenails! So, I went back to the Puritan's Pride Biotin, but increased the dose to Ultra Mega 7500 mcg quick release soft gel caps once a day initially and will reorder the 5000 mcg soft gel caps soon to maintain the new growth. I have only been using Puritan's Pride Biotin again for 30 days and my hair stylist confirmed there is new growth again!

This is a great brand with easy to use capsules. It’s only been a few weeks so can’t tell performance yet. The milligrams is what physician suggested.

I had been buying those pink gummies and taking them for over a year because of my thinning hair. I did get results with it, however, not as much as I had hoped. Due to a tightening of our household budget, I began searching for a less costly alternative. I turned to Puritan's Pride brand first, as I have always had good experiences with them. WOW! My hair is now fuller than it has been in years, and I have been taking it for just months! I take one a day, which is the same dosage I had been taking of the pink gummies. I have also noticed improvements with my skin and nails, too.

Let me begin by saying that this product does take time to actually work and see a difference. Patience for me was almost a whole year to see changes but with that said the results came through. They are odorless, tasteless which is always a better thing then having taste at all. Easy to use, doesnt dissolve and very swallowable and small. It showed hair growth in my appearance after about ten months but everything good takes time!! I will continue to use this product as long as I can.

I think my headline says it all. I purchased this 4 times on Amazon & 2 times on another site and I wouldn't keep buying it at any price, if it wasn't helping. I use this for my hair. It really does help. Your vitamins may have Biotin in them, but it's only a fraction of what you need. I know this is supposed to help your skin and everything, but it's my hair I use it for. I'm 69 years old and I was having hair loss for years. I even had to comb my hair over in places, because of thinning. Most of my hair was ending up in the vacuum cleaner or the tub drain. A couple months after I started taking Biotin, (which my doctor suggested I try), my thinning slowed down and 18 months later the hair loss stopped completely and I regrew the hair I'd lost. OK, so it wasn't overnight, but it happened and I had tried a lot of products before that, that had done little to nothing. Do you know another thing that happened about a year after I started on Biotin? I haven't colored my hair in probably 8 or 10 years, because of allergies. My hair had become a light gray color. OK, I accepted that, even if it did make me look a lot older than my older sister. One day, a few months ago, my sister said, "Your hair is a light blond again!" I looked in the mirror and it was more light blond, than light gray. Within a couple more months, all my hair was light blond. Family members asked when I started coloring my hair again, because it was shinier, too. Again, I looked in the mirror and my hair does have a sheen to it. My diet and meds are the same. I take the same vitamins along with Lutein, Calcium & Biotin. Biotin is the only thing that could have made a difference in my hair. This works for me and has a good price. I recommend it. Like a few people before have said they came completely clumped together. What happened to the silica packet? I can’t even return it because it’s not eligible. And absolutely woeful effort and disgusting purchase. Do not buy!

The pills are sticking on each other it like they melted inside forming the shape of the bottle. I didn't use it.
