Perfect fit for Craftsman LT1000 17HP
Fits the same as the OEM muffler, but mounts to a different hole on the engine block. Installation took about 5 minutes from start to finish.

Box too small, no padding.
The Muffler was good, the packaging was too tight for the box used. While in transit part of the muffler pipe broke through the box. As a result, there wasn't a gasket. I had to resort to using my old one.

Almost perfect replacement
Easy replacement for the original muffler on my two decade mower. Since the mounting bracket is angled, I had to tap the available screw hole to mount it. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a gasket which has to be ordered separately.

Fits Poulan PR1842STC
Was unsure because the shape of the pipe is very different from the original for the Poulan PR1842STC but it fit perfectly. don't forget to buy the gasket!
