Halfsox-Women's Casual Cotton Sling-back No Show Half Socks

I’m very happy I discovered Halfsox The Original! They are great with siing-backs of ALL styles and like another reviewer said, she/I wear them with mules because Halfsox are soooo comfy and the wide, matching stretchy heel band adds a pop of color to any mules! Also...night time with slippers, in bed during the winter, at a hotel or while traveling anywhere because you never know how chilly your AirBnB or hotel might feel to you, etc. when you did not have time for a pedicure and you are having a kick-your-shoes-off-wine-time with your lady friends at home, cover those toes up in style. Buy these, start with one pair, you will be hooked!

Got the white Medium-Large for my size 10 feet. The sock is not too thick and is cushy/comfy: great with my low boots! I had been wearing low socks, but they always slip off my heel and bunch up under my foot. These straps stay on just fine. BTW, I hadn't realized until I got them, but the strap material is not the cotton but instead is a nice thin stretchy polyester fabric. That's a plus IMO because it lays nice and flat and doesn't rub.I only wish they came in more light/neutral colors like nude and blush. Also, I wish they explained the difference between Black and Black Magic. I'll definitely buy a dark color when they have them in my size!

I have poor circulation which means my feet get cold at night. I took to wearing socks but then I began having problems with cracked dry heals. (seems the socks absorb all the moisture out of your feet) In order to solve this problem I chose the Halfsox Sling-back. These socks kept my toes warm but allowed me to moisturize my dry heals and not dry out at night. I also have swollen feet often and was worried they might not fit or be too tight but they fit fine, and with the sling-back feature they did not come off at night when I tossed and turned in bed. I love the pink color too. I plan to buy more of them in the future.

I have purchased these socks many times over the years; that means I find them useful. However, one thing they annoys me to no end is the way the two socks are packaged. The hard plastic that cliped the two socks together is impossible to open. If you use your hand, it will break your finger nails. I have to use a particular kind of plyer with the other hand wearing a pot holder to pry open the clip ....and in the process of trying to open one of the pairs I just bought, one sling band was damaged. It should never be so difficult to open a pair of socks, half socks to be exact. Another annoyance is its price. I will look for alternatives in the future.

My toes are always cold, and I hate pinching socks on my toes when I wear shoes. These are the perfect combo: keep my toes warm but don't bunch up in shoes. I bought a white pair first. Then reordered in every color available. Plan on wearing them with sandals too. Really, really comfortable, and they don't slip off in bed either.

I thought of doing something like this years ago but I’m glad someone finally did them. My toes are all that ever gets cold. These stay on! The rest of my feet do not get hot. I have neuropathy and it works great to help with the level I experience . I’m so pleased!

I use these with ankle sleeves. Sometimes wearing a full sock over with the sleeve just gets too hot. These help and with the strap they stay on even if I'm not wearing shoes. I also wear them with backless shoes (clogs) and they are very nice for that - gives me the comfort of a sock, but not the strange look of wearing a sock with a clog.
