Chechil Smoked Suluguni (1 lbs)

First of all delivery was a pain. They missed promised delivery date, then Amazon admitted that they have no idea where it is and proposed to refund it. I was not in a rush so I decided to wait. I finally got a tracking number but by the time it was really close they lost it again. Third time was a charm but plan for a month long delivery by the snails with alzheimer.Second it is smaller than it looks on the picture.. It is probably one pound as promised but still I was expecting something bigger than the palm of my hand with the fingers extended.Third is the worst one - it is not tasty at all. So much that I decided to throw it away after the first try. I love suluguni and chechil both plain and smoked but this one I could not force myself to eat. Too bad I was waiting so long for it.Interestingly in my local deli store I found another variety looking very similar but only saying "smoked suluguni" on it. The ring is about three times bigger, price per pound is less and best of all it actually tastes great! I buy it every week now. Was looking for it online but could not find any.

This is a high quality and delicious cheese. I enjoy it very much at our family dinner. It goes well with pretty much everything. I Highly recommend it!!! I will be purchasing more soon.

On the photo of the product at Amazon there are 2 types of cheese advertised- plane AND smoked. However only one (smoked) version was delivered for full charge. Clearly it is the case of misleading advertisement.
