Best money for quality in its bracket
I lost it for a year in my old recliner and it still wrote when found. It's crazy pretty, a great writer and apparently never dries out, lol.

Fantastic $10 Pen!! BEWARE of sellers that have "Opened Stock" with no pen box or instructions.
These are fantastic pens because their nibs write very smoothly and have such wonderful ink flow that it feels as if you are painting the ink on the page. And the nib never dries out when capped! I use a Platinum Fountain Pen Converter with them so I can use my favorite Noodler's bulletproof inks and Herbin scented inks.Japanese seller "RB JAPAN" is very reliable:My original Prime order turned out to have "Opened Stock" problems and so I returned it. I re-ordered my replacement pen from the Amazon Japanese seller "RB JAPAN" for under $10 which included free shipping (no Prime). The beautiful quality pen arrived from Japan via postal mail in less than 3 weeks, was well packaged for shipping, came in the original Platinum Fountain Pen factory box, and included the instruction pamphlet.Beware of "Opened Stock" sellers:Several reviewers over the years have complained abut receiving poor quality pens that lack a proper Platinum Fountain Pen box and instruction pamphlet but they never specified who were the sellers and I incorrectly assumed they must have bought their pens from a seller other than Amazon. So I originally ordered via Prime a pen directly sold by Amazon (Amazon.com Services LLC ).Problems with Amazon "Opened Stock" inventory on original December 2019 order:1) It arrived without its proper Platinum Fountain Pen factory box and corresponding instruction pamphlet. The only identifying label on the pen was a small Amazon ASIN inventory sticker (no official Platinum product stickers at all). The pen was shipped lose inside a large bubble-wrap mailer envelope.2) The pen cap had multiple significant cosmetic scratches.I immediately returned it to Amazon for a refund (easy to do with Prime).

It just works , first time , every time.
This is the most reliable pen I have ever owned. I have had Lamy Safari, Parker 45 and Sheaffer pens in the past and because I don't use a pen every day or sometimes every week they have all failed to write first time after a break. Some take considerable effort to get them to write only to have the same problem the next time ! This pen is different it just works first time every time as soon as the nib touches the paper and no blotting. They clearly have a unique design cap to this pen and it's a pleasure to use.

Well
The name of this pen in Japanese is "10,000-year pen" but just after a little over a year, it's dead. The ink won't come out at all. The overall quality of the pen was good but it just wouldn't last long as it will give you pain because of the metal body of the pen. And it was 23 CAD last year but now it's 10 CAD more so watch out...
