Love this iron!
I had the original SteamFast iron that looked just like this. Unfortunately, after a couple of years, it was one of the ones that actually caught on fire, so I had to toss it even before they were recalled. The replacement irons I've gotten since don't get hot enough to even make steam; not other models of SteamFast or even the expensive Oliso mini steam irons. Since none of those replacements were satisfactory, I made the decision to try this one and I am so happy I did. Finally, a mini iron that gets hot enough to make steam and press seams adequately. I love this iron but make sure to unplug it when I'm done so it doesn't catch on fire, just in case.

Amazing little iron!
I can't believe all the features packed into this small iron. AWESOME! I was very unhappy with my last 2 LARGE irons, then I saw someone using one of these in a video. I looked up all the features (ON/OFF steam); you get TWO (2) clear ports to look into the amount of water is in this iron. On/off switch (of course) for both steam and the iron itself. What sealed the deal was that it has NO shut-off time. I work for hours in my studio/office, and it stays on until I turn it off. I'm also amazed at how much water is left in the tank after I'm through. I run my own online shop making hats and purses, and this is the ideal iron for me (and the small space I work in). The weight is perfect for me as well, along with everything else!

My second iron over the years of making quilts
Use without steam to press binding strips, seams, etc. as I am sewing sections of my quilt. Lightweight so no stress on hand, arm. Easy to hold. Spray water on seams as needed. Only plug in when needed since it heats so quickly.

If you need a small iron I recommend this one.
Needed a small iron to take on retreat. This was perfect 👌🏼 and got the job done ✔️ Another lady that came had this same iron that she has been using for years. It is yellow and they don’t make it in that color anymore. Who knew I’d have color envy 🤣

The cord gets in the way.
It’s compact. A great size. The cord is thick and annoying. I just got it. So far it’s ok

Fits my hand comfortably!
Perfect little iron! I’m using it on the side of my quilt table (it’s an old general store counter 36” by 6.5 feet! This way I don’t have to drag out my ironing board and regular size iron. I purchased also a thick wool mat that I use to press quilt block seams to one side. I don’t travel often yet if needed, the iron would be perfect. The weight is substantial yet lightweight enough not to be a burden. I don’t usually use water in the iron when pressing quilt blocks so I can’t check about any water leakage, as the liquid can distort the blocks to make them inaccurate. Inaccurate blocks make inaccurate quilts!

Very pleased with this little iron
Better than expected. I started using it right away on quilt blocks that I was sewing together. I used it on a small ironing board next to me. It heats up quickly, gets plenty hot but can be cooler if needed. It pressed my fabric blocks perfectly and the compact size of the iron helped get right on the seams and pressed them perfectly. And it's comfortable in my hand. I highly recommend it for your quilting or sewing space.
