The product seems to work very well and does produce very small shreds. However, I prefer to use about 6 sheets at a time so it does not strain, jam or overheat. So far I am very happy with this shredder.On the other hand I am very disappointed in the courier service used by Amazon UK, The original quoted time for delivery was very long and it was delayed several days beyond this. Amazon UK could learn a lot from Amazon US whose couriers always deliver well ahead of schedule and at a lower charge than the UK!

I'm not sure that it's necessary, but I do it with shredders anyway.

Used straight out of the box. Surprisingly quite and smooth operation. No lifting heavy machinery of the top with pull out waste bin in the front.

Quick and quiet

Been using this daily since it’s arrival 6 days ago & with one exception it’s absolutely brilliant- it is extremely quiet, which was a prerequisite for me, smooth to use, on wheels so easy to move around - & no residue dust from the micro shreds of paper - it’s odd then, when it ticks all boxes with its ergonomic design, you open the drawer to empty the contents & the central ‘rail’ that holds the clear window panel, is so sharp it could slice through your fingers! It’s caught me off guard a few times!! I need to either file this down or cover it to blunt the corners. It’s a cheap nasty area of the design which is otherwise faultless as shredder design goes. For me this is its only fault. Well, if pushed, but purely for aesthetics, the graphics are a bit naff/unnecessary & not entirely clear..but I’m nitpicking. Not a dealbreaker! 9/10

Arrived very well packaged. Smaller than I imagined but fits neatly behind the office door. Easy to use, plug it in and get shredding. I also bought the lubricant oil as from experience with other shredders, this certainly assists in its maintenance.So far, so good, happy with the purchase and recommended.

I never usually buy anything according to price, but generally because I don’t use them often, I have normally chosen ‘budget line’ shredders (around £50-£70), however because I use the debris for lighting my log burner decided to get something more robust. After careful research, and taking note of the reviews I decided on the WOLVERINE 10-Sheet Super Micro Cut High Security Level P-5 Heavy Duty Paper/CD/Card Ultra Quiet Shredder for Home Office at £199.99. After a few days I am completely disappointed and it feels like I’ve wasted in excess of £100 on this over hyped, and frankly mediocre shredder.After around 10 minuets or so, and rigorously following the directions of use the shredder continuously stops / overheats / jams etc, etc. I cannot understand why suppliers continue to over exaggerate performance - it’s simply a complete waste of time, money and resources delivering & collecting goods. Maybe for something under £10 most will accept it and do not return. But this shredder is just not worth £200 and it will be going back.
