Successfully installed, by this handy novice, in about an hour. …though I did take extra time to be careful.I'd been waiting months to see my phone again so, I am very happy with this 3rd party product.It should be known that you have to move a few parts from your 'smashed' side of things… but what's actually missing with this kit are tiny little clear plastic "alignment" brackets that are positively glued to your OEM side. I popped off the front facing camera one but lost the other one and didn't bother looking for it because I realized, these really don't matter.You don't hold your phone 100% perfectly plumb and level, you hold it to the view of your liking. I did detract a star for that not really explicitly mentioned or talked about yet in comments I've noticed.. so far I don't see any low performance or issues with the replacement screen. I will absolutely come here first thing I see wrong with this.. until then - AWESOME ~ SO HAPPY TO HAVE MY PHONE FIXED FOR +/- $70.-Product was delivered in Prime fashion (2 days) - I chose a seller close to my location instead of the default seller.-I would suggest ordering a small tool kit if you do not own the very small drivers and softer plastic tool required. ~ Good luck and be careful some of the ribbon cables are glued down… I didn't realize they are not connected to anything, they are just glued..so work them off slowly.Pleased, No known issue with product upon completed replacement. December 11th - product in use 1 hour. Yay.

You get what you pay for here. I'm giving this 4 stars because the price is excellent, but the quality is not the same as an Apple display. For my purposes, however, it's just fine. The differences in quality are negligible and most people wouldn't notice them unless they gave it a very close look.Here are the quality issues:- Tiny misalignment of the display within the assembly, so the black bezel around the screen is slightly larger at the top than the bottom, and ever so slightly higher on the right hand side. This isn't going to bother me.- A few (maybe 4 total) very tiny white pixels near the clock. Not noticeable during normal use - this isn't going to bother me either.- The plastic is slightly thicker, so the home button feels just a tiny bit more depressed than with a genuine display. I'll get used to it.The repair is a bit tricky, but it's totally doable. Check out ifixit.com for great instructions. I also picked up the tools I needed to perform the repair on their website - there are much cheaper tools on Amazon, but again, you really do get what you pay for.Good luck everybody! My phone looks great and overall, I'm very happy given the quality and the price.

Worked great for the first 3-4 weeks, than started flashing on and of rapidly and stopped working completely three days later.

I read a lot of reviews that these screens are junk.... I assure you they are not. Do you ever get a bad one in a bunch of them that you order? Sure, but they have replaced them immediately when you notify them. Most of these bad reviews, I think, are installer error. IF you watch enough videos, do your research, and proceed with the install PATIENTLY..... you will be just fine. A person who is doing this for the first time will probably spend 2 - 3 hours installing this, accept that.There are a lot of very tiny screws you will have when disassembling this phone and organization is a MUST. Find a good clean, flat place to do your install. Have a full belly and good lighting, because you're going to be there a while. BUT it is worth it if you have any inclination on working with small electronics; and A LOT cheaper.You will need a god set of tools: Pentelobe Screwdriver, Phillips head screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, plastic pry tool, good set of tweezers and PATIENCE. Most of these screens will come with an adequate set of tools to do the job.The only difference between this and an original Apple screen is the retina display difference on these aftermarket screens.

It’s been a pretty good screen so far …. About 1 month now….but be prepared to transfer the Proximity Ambient Light Sensor Plastic Bracket Holder. If you look closely at the second image you’ll see that it’s not included. At least it didn’t come with mine.

The display works and looks great, I can't tell any difference from the original and it was fairly easy to replace.The only drawback is that I don't think it's exactly the same size as the original.For the most part it fits fine, but it's started separating from the outside plastic and the screen rises to where there's a small gap that i can see between the lcd and the side of the body of the phone. It's most noticeable when the screen is on. I usually have my phone in a case, but if you carry it without, it might become an eyesore.Since the iPhone 5 is already a little old, I probably won't order another one to fix it.

Wie bei vielen ist auch mir das iPhone abgestürztz mit der Folge Riss im Display.Also was tun?Zuerst bei Apple geguckt da sollte die Reperatur über 200€ kosten Wofür? Jeder weiß das die Herstellungskosten beim iPhone sehr gering sind.Also hab ich nach einem Ersatz Display geschaut.Das Display sieht optisch exakt wie das alte aus.Der Einbau dauerte ca 40 min.Ich hatte ein gut erklärtes Video auf Youtube gefunden das mir als Vorlage diente.Ein Tip von mir wer sich das gefummel mit den Einzelteilen (Kamera, Homebutton, diverse Flexkabel etc.) sparen möchte sollte sich das komplett vormontierte Display bestellen.Der Einbau ist für jeden machbar.Das mitgelieferte Werkzeug ist ganz brauchbar und magnetisch. Der einzige Haken liegt beim Saugnapf - der ist nicht zu gebrauchen.Mittels Saugnapf wird das Display aus der Fassung gezogen. Es sitzt aber so fest das ich ca 20 min. gebraucht habe es soweit zu lösen das ich es mit dem Schraubenzieher raushebeln konnte, da der Saugnapf nie richtig hielt oder sich löste.Der Anschluss einzelnen Teile ist relativ einfach erfordert aber konzentration.Anders als in einigen Kommentaren zu lesen gibt es keine Qualitätsverluste beim Bild oder der Bedienung.5 Sterne gibt es nicht weil das Werkzeug nur zum Teil nützlich ist und weil das Display zwar komplett in der Fassung sitzt aber die Flexkabel und die Kamera nicht zu 100% richtig einrasten.

Zunächst, das Display funktioniert. Das ist aber auch schon alles. Die Qulität und Passgenauigkeit ist ein Witz. Kabekl sind zu kurz,damit wird das anschließen der Flachbänder zu Glücksspiel!Das Display lässt dich nach Zusammenbau um fast einen mm nach innen drücken. Nicht weil der Rahmen nicht passt sondernweil das Glas nicht sicher mit dem Rest verbunden ist. Lieber 10€ mehr ausgeben und Qualität kaufen.

Super Qualität!Von den Displays die ich bisher getauscht habe, weist dies die beste Qualität auf. Ich hatte zuvor schon das Display von Fixoo welches immerhin mehr als doppelt so teuer ist. Dieses war leider sehr blaustichig.Ich kann dieses Display uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Ich habe das LCD von einem Händler aus UK bestellt. Der Versand hat etwas gedauert, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Das Display funktioniert super und der Einbau war ganz einfach.

Also mal ganz ehrlich! Lieber die paar Euro dafür ausgeben, wie es machen zu lassen und im Durchschnitt 150 Euro zu bezahlen! Es gehört nur etwas Fingerspitzengefühl, aber auch mit etwas Geduld ist es ganz easy einzubauen! Hat super gepasst und funktioniert einwandfrei! Daher 5 sterne! Man merkt auch gar nicht das es Zubehörteil ist!
