The pieces are really of good quality, but they are very femma when bending the tabs as I had the difficulty of bending one of the tabs as it was in an awkward place to bend and it snapped but I superglued it in place,

Very hard to make it
The media could not be loaded. I bought it for my partner’s birthday because he love this models to build. I was so surprised when the package arrived because I told it’s much bigger. When my partner opened it He straight away, start to build it. It’s not for beginners. that’s for sure. It’s from metal but it looks so amazing. He still hasn’t got a chance to finish it but it has lot of tiny details on it which is incredible.

Smaller than the picture shows when shopping.
I bought the model ship for my husband. When I saw the size of the box I was a bit disappointed. This is why I have given it 4 stars because other than that the model looks great and with it being made of stainless steel it should last a long time.I would definitely recommend this ship to others and will definitely be ordering more of these models for him in the future. The sheets inside the box are very thin and the pieces inside are very small and fiddly I wouldn't recommend these models to children at all.

Brilliant
Great build but you may need more tools than supplied with this kit

Very good but can break easily when building p
This is a pretty cool ship but definetly only get this if you have experience with this type of thing. It breaks very easily when you’re bending things into place and once it’s broke there isn’t much of a way to fix if. However, it didn’t cost much so I didn’t expect anything more than that and I still have hours of enjoyment doing this even though it was broken, it’s just a shame it’s functionality lacks when it comes to keeping together.

A new building project for a lifelong Lego fan!!
I carefully thought about a new type of building/construction project for my son who is a lifelong Lego fanatic. He's had Lego sets for every Birthday and Christmas since he was 10. Tomorrow, 15th Nov 24, he turns 30!!I'm 'daring' to set him a new challenge and this is where I discovered Piececool Metal Modelling kits. I thought this would 'stretch' his brilliant model building skills to provide a new avenue of adventure.I bought The Queen Anne's Revenge kit as a start along this new adventure and, boy, I am not disappointed.Received a few days ago, even the unopened box has got me excited - it really looks brilliant.Cannot wait to see his face when he discovers this on his Birthday......I can't wait to watch the model develop and grow - its the longest build time he has ever experienced.Would love to offer an update/review on his experience during and post build.Happy Birthday Josh......heres to a new adventure!!

Very Difficult to Build
Bought this as present for my husband and he really wanted to build this. He's not an expert model maker but he's pretty good.Firstly the images showing the ship built are way off scale. It will be a LOT smaller, so false advertising there.Instructions:The instructions are not the best at all. No piece by piece instructions like the ones you get with Revell, Airfix etc. You get a load of sheets alright but not very explanatory. E.g. part X is found on metal sheet X but the metal sheets aren't actually numbered, at all, despite saying that they were in the instructions, so you have to find them by eye. There are 4 sheets and a lot of pieces so that can take time.Piece size:When I say each piece is small I'm not understating that. Some of the pieces are smaller than my baby nail! That's OK if its just a case of slotting it in somewhere but you have to either roll or bend it into shape. I have very small hands and would be very dexterous as I do a lot of art and I craft but even I couldn't manipulate the pieces into their proper shape without them breaking. Someone with large hands would find it very difficult like my husband did. Even using the clamp and magnifying glass thingy I bought him was too big. For example there was a piece that you had to bend into the shape of stairs of you were looking at them sideways. The piece was around 7mm x 10mm, the suggested Piececool tools that I bought as well as the kit were **just about** small enough to make each 'step'.Fragility:Each piece is made out of very very fine metal. I imagine once put together the ship would be very sturdy but each individual piece is very delicate. They have score lines or perforations to assist with either bending or rolling whatever the way its meant to be shaped. However this caused the pieces of metal to snap. So one night out of 5 pieces (yes only 5) that we did at least 3 of them either snapped or tore. We were being super careful but still they snapped or tore. After speaking with the owner of a local model shop who has been modelling for YEARS even he said he'd difficulty with them and ended up snipping the pieces that you had to either roll or bend off and just gluing them in place.Eventually we gave up on the set altogether and it is now just sitting there. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive or I think I would have been very annoyed.I'm afraid to say that we would not recommend this kit unless you have been modelling for absolute years and we're very very proficient at modelling.
