Basically an easy "drop-in" replacement
Although I was a little nervous, at first, this replacement item worked after install without any issues.My wife & I apparently "shorted" the previous keyboard with a little too much "dampness" while trying to clean the old keyboard. Took the old one apart, left it out to try for a few days, but it simply would not work afterwards.This replacement keyboard worked with NO trouble after install. I thought this was an unused item!
Maybe I missed something but this keyboard does not appear new. It was nicely packaged and everything but upon opening it I saw scratches where it looked as though the keyboard was removed from either a computer or a previous installation. The ribbon also looks pretty old and beat up even bent in a couple places and there is a green circle tag taped to it with a pen mark drawn through it which makes me worried that it may not work when I try to install it. I will probably update my review once I have actually attempted to install the keyboard but on first glance I am not fully pleased.

Not an exact fit.
Overall the keyboard is wonderful (after all it works), but it is slightly too small for the hole and doesn't 'click' in like the original. The screws in the back do hold it in, with exception to the upper left corner which sticks up a little.
