Excellent scribe
Excellent woodworking scribe. Yes, I'll use it as a utility blade once in a while, but the main purpose is the precise scribe line.I thought the curvature might make a 4' scribe line more comfortable, and it does. In addition, the curvature adds an organic element that my hand prefers on a reach.Japanese tool steel. Razor sharpened. Delivers a wonderful thin scribe line out of the package. The steel will hold the same edge through many resharpenings.Better than expected.

Incredibly sharp!
Insanely sharp! Seriously. I have never had anything this sharp in my hands before, it really is incredible. However, I must say that the sheath it comes with is made from a flimsy, transparent, plastic (last pic). This knife would cut through in a split second, no pun intended… Plus being so flimsy it sticks together, and being transparent… anyway, you get the idea: putting it back on can be a bit tricky, to say the least. In reality, it’s just plain dangerous. Again, this knife is sharper that a razor, and any miss would result in predictably painful consequences. So, as you can see in the photos, I made a hard cap for it using my 3D printer. File is available on Thingiverse. Search for "Kiridashi cap"In no way a diss to the knife itself (quite the contrary if you think about it) and by no means a reason not to buy it. Just be warned.I myself am planning on buying the other available models just because I can’t believe the quality for the price, and you never have enough knives anyway… Am I right?

Over all great but Tip broke scribing PLA 3D prints. Read review.
Got for cleaning up my 3d prints, used it twice and tip broke. Pretty sure it's a crap hardened steal because the tip was not that sharp or brittle enough for some plastic. But it is easy to just re-shape and re-sharpen if you know what your doing. I put a 25° angle back on it for durability and sharpness. Pretty sure it was close to 15 to 20° originally. But for time and money I don't have to go get hardened steel and make one my self so over all Pretty happy with it. Metal is finicky anyways.
