Dry Shampoo for Dogs - Waterless Foaming Mousse - Mango & Pomegranate - 8oz

We bred our Irish setter and had the litter of puppies here in our home. Once they were born, keeping them clean while they were still young was a project in itself. They were not yet housebroken and would sometimes play in each other’s poop on the training pads and get it in their fur. They were having fun but they smelled and we needed a gentle product to get them clean.We did not want to give them a wet shampoo yet as they were still too young and it was during the winter season and cold outside. We bought a few bottles of the dry mousse shampoo and found that it was very easy to apply to their long fur to get their coats clean. It did a good job of removing all the stinky poop and they smelled fresh and clean like they had been given a regular washing in the bathtub.

Our family runs a ranch and we raise many types of animals including horses, beef cattle, milk cows, sheep, and chickens. We have several dogs that work closely with us on the ranch and they regularly get dirty. Their fur coats will often have some manure on it, which is quite stinky, particularly at the end of the day when we bring them indoors. Brushing out their coats helps a little, but it does not get rid of the odor.Our vet who regularly comes out to our ranch to check on our herds recommended that we try this dry mousse shampoo to get our dogs clean. She said that it is gentle enough to use often and that the product does not need to be rinsed out of the dogs’ fur once it is applied. We ordered several bottles and are very happy to say that we are quite pleased with the results. The product effectively removed the manure and infused their coats with a fresh clean scent.

Great product to mask the scent of bad dog stink and cleans pretty well.

Love this dry shampoo. We have doodles, and after a long day at doggie day care, they are a little smelly. They aren’t filthy, just have that scent I’m sure other dog owners know. This comes out in a foam, and you just rub it on the dog like you’re giving them hugs and pats! My dogs won’t let me come near them with a spray bottle, which is how most other dry shampoos work. This is really great dispensing solution as foam. Lastly, when dogs get wet, you can put this on them and it helps the fur dry faster. At least for the kind of hair/fur of our doodles. Can’t vouch for regular fur on standard dog.

This is the worst dry shampoo I've ever used. It smells nice, but that's where the pros end. I bathe my dog once a week, so this was only for "touch ups". It's not like I was trying to completely replace bath time.I have a doberman pinscher, so not a dog with long hair. I used this on him and it left his coat in awful shape. He was disgustingly grimy. It felt like I had dumped a mixture of mud and coconut oil on him. The hair was rough and oily. The skin was oily. It gave him horrible dandruff. And, it did NOT make him smell better, nor was he any cleaner. It only made things worse.I bought this based on the good reviews and am sorely disappointed. I do not recommend this product at all.

Product does what it says.. I have a very stinky shih tzu mix that starts to smell 3 or 4 days after her bath. Used the product once. While it got rid of the majority of the smell, her stinkiness still comes thru.. was hoping for a solution to not having to bathe her every 5 days or so. This was not the solution. Back to constant baths.

My husband and I started a new business and opened a boarding kennel. We house our customer’s pets, which includes dogs and cats as well as rabbits and ferrets while they are away on vacation or traveling. We provide each pet with a separate heated kennel and bedding for them to sleep on. There is an outside area that all the pets can access through a separate doggy door and they usually do their business of urinating and pooping outside.Some of our customer’s pets have some odd habits of rolling on the ground and getting covered in dirt along with the other pets’ poop, which can get quite messy. We regularly have to clean some of the dogs off and rely on the dry mousse shampoo to do the job. It is much easier than having to give each dog a wet shampoo and it saves time. The dry mousse shampoo is very effective at removing all traces of dirt and poop and it leaves their fur smelling clean and fresh.

Smells okay, not at all what I expected. Leaves a residue on the dogs hair.
