Good for killing 'Bermuda Grass'
It is good for killing 'Bermuda Grass' in my 'Tall Fescue" grass lawn.Used during the cool autumn of my local area, it took about 1 week to start to see the results.It did stress my 'Tall Fescue' grass.I applied by using an 'Ortho Dial N Spray Hose-End Sprayer'.For my spring application I will add a surfactant for gardening to the mix.

Takes Time to Work
Gordon's Ornamec 170 does kill the crab grass, however we had to apply several applications.We have a company that sprays our yard (fertilizer, insecticides, etc...), he was skeptical and thought we should just kill the yard and start over. We killed a portion and used the Gordon's on another portion. Both methods worked, but the Gordon's applied area, took much longer to recover.

Don’t use on St Augustine (other than Zoysia)!
It does kill Bermuda but almost killed my St Augustine in the process. In all fairness, they only recommend the use on zoysia and other types of grasses, they are silent about the risk of using it on St Augustine and I read online it worked and took a bet. Luckily my lawn surviving but the weeds gained strength while it was recovering and I’m paying the price (literally!).They should be more explicit about the risk of applying it in other types of turf grasses, including St Augustine that’s very common here in the South.

Wait 10 days!
This stuff works in my Zoysia, just trust it and give it 10+ days to expect to see evidence of it working. I thought this was going to be one of those things that doesn’t work for me. But wow, clearly doing it’s thing and takes some time to see.Update - it’s gone! 2 applications across 4-5 weeks apart and it’s gone, I am probably 3 months after it’s all gone and the areas are 80-90% grown back. No complaints whatsoever. Wish it came in smaller quantity

The only product that kills grass and weeds and not ornamentals
I grow Texas-strain wildflowers, and the weeds and spurious grass love to grow amongst the wildflowers. No hand-picking in 100-degree heat, but a good dose of Ornamec using a hand tank sprayer kills the unwanted. It may seem expensive, but the value is in how it works and for how long. I always have two bottles on my gardening shelf.
