Perfect fit
Perfect fit, don't small like burning plastic when heated and definitely help dampen tube rattle. If your rattle is 100% caused by internals in the tube then they need replacement, now way around it. But these can tame cab based rattle and also good as preventitive measure.

Reduces Tube Rattle
I installed these on a Mesa Boogie California Tweed 40 watt combo amp. I was able to diagnose the rattle as coming from one tube. Placing one ring on the tube wasn’t enough to solve the issue so I added a second one. I recommend buying twice the number of tubes that causing issues or buy a separate head and speaker.

GOODBYE annoying JJ 6L6 rattle!
I bought a 4pk of these. I only needed 1 (at the moment) but the shipping was the same for either 2 of 4. I have 3 that'll go in the parts bin or to a buddy in need. Better to have em and not need em than to need em and not have em.I have no idea about the longevity of these dampers. I believe silicone is stable in upwards of 550F. I'm not an amp tech, but my guess is if your tube glass is approaching the 500F range then something is very wrong. Do they deteriorate in any way due to prolonged exposure to heat? Again, IDK.What I do know is that one of my once silent (for a whole 2 months) pair of JJ 6L6 tubes started rattling considerably one day. Even if you've never heard it before, tube rattle is instantly identifiable and needs no explanation. It's completely annoying and unfortunately common in combos where the tubes are in close proximity to the speakers, like the Fender HRDeV. I put the VERY tight fitting damper on the tube and slid it down to where the mica touches the glass and THE RATTLING IS 100% GONE. A ridiculously simple solution to a common problem. Installation seemed a little sketchy at first given the snugness of the damper but just grab ahold of the thing, don't bend the pins and work it on down. Don't try rolling it on like a connie. The silicone is "greasy" enough to slide down without issue. If one or two of these doesn't solve the problem then A) It's not the tube rattling, or B) Your tube is toast.

Silenced the rattle in my vintage Twin Reverb
They work! The 6L6’s in my ‘67 Twin we’re noticeably rattling to the point that even at high volume it could be picked up by a mic. Threw a few of these on the tubes and no more glass rattle. Twin Reverbs are LOUD and these let that sweet sweet blackface tone shine through at the volumes such an amp demands.

Tube Vibes
These things bring me back when I a kid. I would go into a hifi shop and listen to gear that cost more than the cars my parents drove combined. Anyway-same material as I recall. Vibration dampening for ur tubes!

I would not recommend them.
When I went to remove them from the tubes 2 of them cracked and 2 melted onto the tube. I would not recommend them.

Got rid of my tube rattle
I have a Fender Champ reissue that developed tube rattle when the low E string was played open. Very annoying. Tried changing the tubes, same problem. Finally found these and they solved my tube rattle. Be sure to order the right size. Also, I had to flatten one side of one of the dampers for the tube to fit next to the speaker. I love my amp again!
