I started using DIY skin care products 4.5 months ago and have noticed a tremendous improvement in my skin. I have been doing extensive research on different skin improvement products and rely on Amazon for the bulk of my purchases. The reviews and seller feedback, coupled with Google and YouTube seem to be the perfect marriage.I had been wanting to try DMAE as an eye cream ingredient and finally settled on this particular brand based on ratings, seller feedback and cost. Recipe - I chose to make a night time eye cream and prefer thicker a thicker consistency. I chose to use a Clinique night cream as my base, Rosehip oil and DMAE as my ingredients. The recipe I chose required 2 teaspoons of a cream (Jason's Vitamin E or a night cream was suggested), 1/2 teaspoon of DMAE AND 15 drops of Rosehip oil. The texture of the finished product was not as 'balm-like' as I prefer, so I continued to add drops of Rosehip oil until it was to my liking . It mixed seamlessly with the other ingredients and application and wear have been superb. I am not sure if there is any difference in my skins actual texture, but there is visible improvement. Also, it did not interfere with my makeup application. Storage - I keep in my bath area in a dark cabinet. I may start to refrigerate as the weather starts to really warm up. Packaging - The packaging is high quality, well sealed and clearly labeled with all pertinent info. ***The container in the picture below is recycled from a previous purchase. This product has been added to my repeat purchase list, but I do not anticipate having to purchase it often due to the amount required in recipes. I will forewarn, do not use this product so close to your actual eye that you may accidentally get some onto your eye. It is not especially painful, but you will test so much that you will be unable to open your eye and see until you wipe the product away with a towel or tissue. Ask me how I know! As a caveat, I am 57. This should be considered before making and judgments as to the appearance of my bare eye area. UPDATED - The third photo is Week 3, with use as part of my night time routine. As a caveat, I also purchased the Hyaluronic Acid from this company a few days later. I made it into a serum and use that twice a day in my eye area. I could not be more pleased with this combo. UPDATED, May 21, 2017 Photo #4 is taken after 13 months of daily night time use. I no longer use it in the morning, as I often apply it too close to my eyes and it irritates my eyes prior to makeup application.

I've recently become aware of the advantages of making facial and body creams myself, among them, it's way less expensive; it eliminates any worries about animal testing and if-y ingredients, and it contains more of and a higher quality of key ingredients than commercial products. After viewing an assortment of how-to videos and reading as many articles as I could come-by, I set out to make a DMAE facial and body cream as my first project. My key ingredient, aside from my coconut oil base, is this BulkSupplements Pure DMAE-Bitartrate Powder and the BulkSupplements Vitamin C powder. I got lucky. After reading reviews and comparing size and cost of pretty much every DMAE supplement offered on Amazon, I ended up choosing a quality company, getting an excellent product, and as a bonus, getting great customer service besides. Once I ordered the DMAE powder, I was even offered a second product of my choice ( I chose the Vitamin C powder) at no additional cost if I would be willing to write an unbiased review. I would definitely buy any future ingredients from BulkSupplements....and by the way, I love my new cream. I made a full cup of my concoction, which also contains a bit of almond oil, jojoba oil, moringa oil, and a drop of lavender and vanilla extract (all organic when I could get it.) I keep the cream in in the fridge, so it does harden (coconut oil is a solid unless it's heated,) but I rub a bit between my hands to make it creamy, and I use it on my face (being careful not to get it in my eyes) and on my body after a shower. Of course, the possibilities for future projects are endless once you start buying ingredients that appeal to you....and given you have a supply of ingredients stocked away, "running out" should not be an issue for a very long time!!

Go on, I'll wait tilI I hear your birkenstocks clop clop clop down the hallway before I begin. Heaven forbid anyone of them buy a product that isn't made from 100% organic and blessed by New Zealand made vegetarian duck farts. Yes this product comes from China, so by default everything is evil and cruel in the world and toxic and we're going to give ourselves cancer because it's not double certified and and kosher blessed by a rabbi's fart to boot. Wanting to use this product wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with the logic in seeing 10K plus positive reviews stating how these products have helped people (rolls eyes). Now that it's just you and I, I'll continue. I'm here because I was searching for amino acids to buy in bulk without fillers. I wanted something priced fair and pure. After all my searching, Bulk Supplements had the ideal products. The only thing that was left for me to do was scan through all the reviews to see if such products would help me. I have a connective tissue disorder so I made it a point to buy all the aminos that had an effect in regards to tissues of the body. I also bought Glutamine as I read that helped people with their SEVERE bread/wheat/carbohydrate cravings as I have severe bread cravings for that and dairy. I work out often and can never lost the extra 25 pounds because of my food addiction to wheat and dairy. After one day I felt a difference so noticeable I logged in and bought the other remaining 4 amino Acids I needed but did not buy before do to not wanting to spend so much. But since they work and it seems most of these will last 6 months to a year, I opened the floodgates and bought everyone that was unique to me. I ended up buying about 8 products on my first purchase 6 weeks ago. Coming from someone who has tried adding coconut oil, vitamins, probiotics, nothing ever seemed to make much of a difference. It wasn't until I started taking amino acids that everything moved forward for me in my health goals. THIS......STUFF.......WORKS! I also have chronic fatigue syndrome and I'm seeing progress in my energy and health. I want to add that I also bought the Potassium citrate. I can't EMPHASIZE ENOUGH HOW MUCH THAT ALSO HELPED ME! I work out every other day and I use the sauna for about 40 minutes. In conjunction with taking aminos and now getting about 5K (4700 the average, but I workout hard) mg of potassium citrate, I'm feeling so much better! Even in my workouts I had to increase the weight by about 20 percent on the machines I use, and I even had to add more reps onto my sets! My original workout felt like I never even worked out since taking these products! Now even with added weight and reps onto my workout regimen, I still feel like I didn't quite workout enough! But I keep my increases minimal as I don't want to go ahead to much. But I can't flipping believe how much these products have boosted what I can do in the weight room AND not feel like a gassed race horse when I'm done. This stuff is literally the MAGIC powder. And with how its helping me with regular health outside of working out and also keeping me from falling off on binge eating on pizza and ice cream, this stuff is it. I'll always be a consumer of these products. Since I already ordered 3 times from this company (LOL) in the last 6 weeks, I got three free sample products to try that I WOULD NOT NORMALLY BUY! But since they also helped, I ended up adding them onto my next order! And to those people that complained about getting the free samples being just a marketing ploy and other nonsense, BUGGER OFF! There are products I wouldn't have bothered to try but since I got to try them for free and I liked them, I added them onto my next purchase. Because they worked for ME. You're getting a product that could very well last for a month and free shipping, all you have to do is leave a review if you like it or not. Yes, what a scam bulk supplements is running (rolls eyes). As of now there are two other products I plan on ordering from them, the Melatonin and the BCAA 3-1-2 product. Again, I'm only doing this because of how much positive gains I'm seeing in my health and workout. Another bonus was I could never eat enough meat, I was always hungry for tuna, turkey, beef, I could never get enough and my grocery bill was always high. Now I can eat a normal serving of meat and I feel like I don't need anymore thanks to taking the Acetylcarnitine and the Creatine, components that are found in muscle tissue. How I take my supplements is as follows- I take one serving size amount of each one in the morning. Then in the evening I take one serving size of only the msm, ascorbic acid, acetyl carnitine, Arginine, L-Glutamine, D-Ribose, potassium citrate. I take this because of budget, I want what I have to last longer, but these products are most important in keeping my cravings at bay so I take them once more at night. You can take some of these 3 times a day it says, but I only do them all once, and what I just listed twice. If I was rich and could afford $300 in supplements every 2-3 months I'd take them 3 times day. But since I'm not I make them last :) In summary, what I take is what I feel my body needs. And I am 100% happy with the effects I have experienced. And as for odors like some people described when they open their packages, well.........Some of these are chemicals, aren't they? MSM will smell like a sulphur like smell, correct? Unless you want added scents to mask things (which I don't) I honestly have not had a problem with that. And for the foil cosing bag, what I did was go to Walmart and buy a package of the large sized mason jars and I use those to hold my amino's in. I can't see knocking off a star because of the foil bag seal. Just pour it in a wide mouth mason jar and get a measure spoon to dish it out. If you're wondering what products I've used with this company, if you're reading this review then this is the product I purchased and have in my pantry. I'm not rewriting a review for each item, so I am copying and pasting a review to use on every item I bought from them. Any other questions please ask, but I find that as a person with health issues and food issues these items have helped me beyond anything else I've ever tried.

I ordered this DMAE for 2 reasons- first, I'd been getting more & more tired for over 2 months until I couldn't keep awake for even an hour without nodding off- no matter what I was supposed to be doing. It felt like I had mono! My doctor prescribed Modifinil, but after a month & a half of 100 mg a day, I was still getting more tired, no amount of sleep was enough. He had no other ideas so I researched things to give me energy. I had already seen it as an active ingredient in an instant wrinkle-hider by Orogold, which I loved but couldn't find anymore & wanted to try to make my own under-eye cream. It didn't work for that (I tried it in several combinations), and at first I didn't think it was helping with my narcolepsy, or lack of energy & focus, either. I have been adding it to Bolthose Green Goodness, or Naked juice smoothies, at about double the 1/8 tsp.'serving size' on the package- which is 350 mg 2 times a day- since I'd read elsewhere that 1500 mg a day was shown to help. So I tried to put it in my drink a couple times a day. After nearly a week, it finally started to work! I was able to stay awake all day without a nap, and the next day I got up before noon, when before I was dragging myself up at 2 or 3 pm, and still falling asleep by 4! Now I'm back to getting up at 8 or 9, and falling asleep before 1 am & sleeping normally for the last 4 nights. Because I didn't have any other symptoms other than extreme tiredness, I think this DMAE is really working. I don't know why it's so hard to find in stores! I'm hoping there are also long-term benefits. This bag seems like a great bargain compared to the price of capsules that contain other ingredients, and it just tastes like unsweetened Kool-Aid powder, so you can sneak it into any juice, or a serving of Emergen-C! It's a very fine-ground powder, yet not dusty, so blends easily. I'm recommending it to everyone I know!

When I first got the DMAE I put the dry powder under my tongue 1/8 of tsp 3 times a day but I felt that my throat was getting sore and think maybe it may have been the acid. So now I dilute it, great product, great company, fast shipping. Will order from Bulk Supplements again!!! I haven't tried as skin moisturizer yet but will update. Update: I mixed a little DMAE with a little bit of olive oil. It was grainy at first but dissolved nicely. I used it for a few days on my skin added a few drops of filtered water and it felt very nice. I received a free sample of the hyaluronic acid from Bulk Supplements after my purchase, mixed a little of that to my concoction which made it clumpy. Thus I added more water to it. And that concoction simply BLEW ME AWAY. Within 3 days my face has gotten more elasticity, lines are fading. It seems to get better and better! Despite the olive oil it doesn't feel greasy, goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling amazing!!! Years ago I had similar experience with the ORIGINAL formula of Nightskin (not the cream!) at $30 a bottle. I think this mix works much better and 100 x cheaper! I also take some HA & DMAE solution in the morning and have started to feel much better physically. Next time I'll buy a bigger bag!!! Btw I only make enough for a few days, that way I don't need any preservatives!!!

I purchased this DMAE after hearing about it on Dr. Oz. I then started researching it, the uses, prices, etc. This stuff is AMAZING! Pure, fresh, packaged incredibly well, and shipped fast! You won't find better quality at a better price - I use several of Bulk Supplements supplies and am always elated with their products in every way, shape and form! I made some face serum and added the DMAE (NO FILLERS!!) to it, it's really soon to be posting a review, but WOW! It's been just over a week of using it, and I can already see the difference!!! Fine lines and wrinkles seem to diminish almost over night!! Not to mention that is a great additive to your diet. Mix with water, coffee, smoothies etc. and reap the rewards! I add it to my morning smoothies, and although you may find it hard to believe, my brain fog is clearing up as well! My thoughts are clearer, without the caffeine jolt coffee gives you, and I can actually concentrate better!! My skin is much more hydrated and the effects can not only be felt, but seen in the mirror! Talk about an AWESOME product... THIS IS IT!!! I was originally considering purchasing this stuff because of some comments about it being good for the skin, but after reading some of the reviews, I saw that it was supposed to be good for helping with mental focus. I have horrible ADD, most of the time, I walk around in a stupor, forgetting what I'm doing, then getting angry with myself, then ending up depressed. Occasionally, I'm firing on all cylinders and it's GREAT, but that doesn't happen very often, and it seems like as I get older, I have less days of mental clarity. I tried adderal, and it works for a few days, then I end up wired, then I'd hafta take a klonipin to get me back to mid range focus. My body is VERY sensitive and can go from muddle brain (freeway at rush hour) to autobahn in no time. Usually in the middle of that trip, I reach a nirvana type stage where I'm running on all cylinders and it's AWESOME, but then I hafta be careful, and watch, or I'll end up on the autobahn with super racing thoughts. That's when I'll take 1/8 mg of klonipin crush it with my teeth and put it under my tongue and just that little bit brings me back to the "all cylinders" stage. Any higher dose, and I'm back to sleepy muddle brain. I just received the product yesterday. I haven't mixed any up for my skin, yet, but I took 1/32 tsp, mixed in a little water and drank it. It tastes tart, like squeezing a lemon wedge. After just a few minutes, I noticed my brain stupor was gone, but I didn't feel wired. About 1 hour later, I took another 1/32 tsp and felt great. Awake, focused, but not wired. This morning, I took 1/16 tsp and I'm doing pretty good. I don't feel wired, but I'm keeping close tabs on it so I don't go too high. I'm also not sure how long these effects will last. I hope they last long enough that I don't crash and burn mid day. If that happens, I'll hafta carry the stuff with me and re-dose. Carrying around a little container of white powder doesn't seem like an attractive idea, if you know what I mean, lol. Sure, it's vitamin powder, Donna. You must share your drugs. lol I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone that suffers from the symptoms I describe above. I'm grateful that I found this product. I pray that it doesn't "poop out" like so many big pharma drugs have on me in the past. I'll update later and let you know.

I bought this product to help combat the short term memory loss from old age (at least I think that is why I bought it :) ). I have a degree in mathematics so I can recognize some higher level cognitive functioning. I have only taken it for three days but this is what i noticed. I have noticed quicker cognitive functioning just short of "racing thoughts". My thoughts are continually reviewing recent thoughts like things i need to do and other things i need to remember. I can see how this would help in reviewing information for exams and for short term memory. I have also noticed a "mental energy" where I want to get things done. Having only taken it for three days I cannot tell if the my brain eventually will adjust to the chemical increase or if the effects will continue but I have good expectations for this product. I also am not sure it increases memory yet, that will take time. The only negative effect I have noticed is that I wake up in the middle of the night with my thoughts running and have difficulty getting back to sleep. I am dissolving the product in a small amount of water and drinking it. It doesn't taste great but if you can drink plain Alka-seltzer you can probably drink this. I think they taste similar. The quality of the product seems superb.
