Should have bought this waaaay sooner. I originally got the halo swivel bassinet as a baby registry gift and at first my newborn wouldn’t even lay down in it hahah, but when I finally got this replacement mattress she completely changed. I also really liked it because unlike the original mattress it comes with, this one is extremely breathable and made me have much less anxiety about her during the night. I wish it just was a part of the original bassinet because to be honest once we got this one and could compare the thickness of the two mattresses, this one was always the obvious choice because the original probably felt like sleeping on a slab of marble it was so thin haha. The thickness of this one is so much better but not too much because I was worried she would sink into it and it would cause positional asphyxiation but no it’s just right and you don’t have to worry about that, even as my baby got bigger this mattress provided comfort but she never sank into it in a way that had me overly concerned. It was a total game changer and worth the price and upgrade. Easy to clean, fit perfectly and lasted us the entire rest of the time we used the Halo Bassinet.

Infant mattresses are hard, but the mattress that came with our Halo was also incredibly thin. We upgraded to this mattress and immediately our boy went from sleeping in 3 hour stretches to 5-6 hours. While this could just be him progressing as an infant, I feel certain that the mattress is playing a part as it's thicker and provides some cushion while still fitting the requirements for firmness. The mattress is a perfect fit for the Halo. Thankfully we haven't had to deal with any cleanups yet, but visually I know this will be nice and easy to refresh.

This product was recommended as we also have the HALO bassinet. This is great. SO light weight, not easily stained, and quick to wash. It functions great, my newborn has no problem sleeping in her bassinet! It’s breathable, soft, waterproof, and can be used right out the package! It fit perfectly mug in the bassinet. I’m a happy momma, getting more sleep through the night! Give this one a try.

The halo bassinet mattress was uncomfortable (though safe) and our newborn was refusing to sleep on it. We bought this mattress and it has provided more comfort to our baby and he will sleep without protest. It fits perfectly in the bassinet and is good quality.

This breathable mattress is so much better than the mattress that comes with the Halo. My baby noticeably slept better once we switched to this and it being truly breathable made me feel more comfortable. It is easy to wash/clean. It fit the halo perfectly and seemed to be just enough padding for a newborn.
