I use this speaker often while I’m at home listening to podcasts, music, and audiobooks. The sound quality is excellent. I live in about a 2000 square foot home, and I can hear the sound clearly from all areas of my home when the volume is adjusted to half way to max. The battery life is great for the short time I use it, which is maybe an hour or two three times a week. I charge it maybe once a month, sometimes longer. Connectivity to my iPhone and laptop took only seconds and it’s extremely durable. I’ve dropped it several times. I also love the non slip grip type of material it’s made of, and the army green color. It was a great investment.👍🏼

I like the sound. I like the battery life. I think the speaker has sufficient bass and vocals are easy to hear. Of course, some of this is dependent on the source of the sound/music especially if you use equalizer settings. It is a little difficult to determine the battery life however, as the indicator lights only light up while charging, when the speaker is powered on, or when any other button is pressed. It's also on the back of the speaker, so it's not easy to see. The other issue I have is with the speaker app to connect speakers. I have two Flip 5 speakers, and when connected, they provide a pretty good stereo sound. Not great, but I would think it would be sufficient for most indoor rooms. I generally use my iPhone as my music source, and I always have to reconnect the speakers to get them to pair in stereo. I find this frustrating. I would think that if both speakers are turned on, they should automatically connect in stereo. My wife won't even use this feature cause it's a pain in the @$$ to use. Other than that, the speaker is fine.

We got the golden one. We named her Golden Girl and she has traveled all over the world with us without problem. She fits in the water bottle compartment on our backpacks. Its a JBL so the sound quality is pretty good but not extraordinary.

Works well in all environments whether it’s raining or the suns out. Extremely portable just put it in your glovebox or backpack. Extremely loud might not want it at full volume and around 5 hr battery life
