I had seen this heater many times and decided to purchase it. It is more expensive than the regular outdoor heaters, but worth the extra dollars. The design is beautiful! The unit is simple to assemble. (you add wheels on the bottom, the glass, stones and top) So easy! The Faro heater is a great addition to our back yard! Definitely going to purchase another one!

I have been looking for a long time for a porch high quality heater that is elegant too. Wow this fits the bill! It is a great price point and if you can go for the larger one - it is worth it! It heats amazingly and is soooo beautiful at night. Highly recommend.

Pros: Heater looks beautiful on or off Ambiance definitely gets improved with it on Set up is easy Cons: Filmsy - window panes doesn’t feel stable when moving on uneven surfaces. Feels like the windows will come off when moving and I don’t have confidence in it all staying together in windy conditions Heat is mainly concentrated at the top of the unit just above the windows. Wish there was a reflector to bring heat down and spread it out. You feel minimal heat when you are positioned below the top of the unit. It’s the best aesthetically pleasing heater l found But I need something to actually keep people warm when it’s cold at night Definitely returning this

I received the heater today and noticed a problem with the ignitor. It sporadically stops and I need to push the button several times to get it to spark again. I changed the battery and it still did the same thing. Also, the spark comes out of the tip of the spark mechanism and the base of that mechanism at the same time.Please advise as how to proceed Thank You Georgia Thacker

Heaters have been properly wrapped, suitable even for long journeys around the world. Proper galvanized metal, fire display reflects on all sides of the glass so it looks much larger - could stare in forever. If your budget allows go for this model - not the smaller brother. It’s worth it

At first, I thought since it was a $500 outdoor heater, this would be stable and easy to use. It is quite unstable and I did put something large behind it so it would not roll away. The rubber items that needed to be placed inside the glass pieces were not clear in the directions as well as the four rubber stabilizes for the glass corners did not easily fit, because these glass panels flared outward. These rubbers kept falling off inside the pit and I had to continuously take off the glass to retrieve them, eventually, I covered without these rubber corners...they should have been fitted inside of the top cover already. The flame did go out and I had to fiddle with the connectors to try to hear the gas hiss for it to fire up. I have called a heating and air specialist to see what he can do. Anyway, this outdoor heater is not worth the price. I am also looking into more stable outdoor heaters now.

Our units didn't arrive with the cover unfortunately (description states it's included). Unit is beautiful and well made, but they don't give off much heat at all.... and we ordered the bigger one! Also, fire doesn't get too high.

Very Happy with my Planika Faro on the terrace! Had to buy another connection compatible to Swedish gasbottles and 37 mbar can’t be found here, but 30 mbar works just as well in my opinion! As all burners it makes a small constant noice! But I was prepared for that! Very well packed and easy to assemble all ny my self!

Love this, first saw one of these while I was on holiday in Spain. I ordered this and it has not disappointed, gives off a nice warmth. Looks great, every visitor comments how lovely it is and looks.

Just got the heater and after 5 minutes of setup time, I’m already enjoying it in my yard. It’s really stylish and modern looking and gives off a fair amount of heat. It also feels a lot more stable than traditional patio heaters. The fact that you can put a 30lb tank inside is also a plus. Highly recommend

Das ist ein wirklich schönes Teil, egal ob es eingeschaltet ist oder nur so rumsteht. Fakt ist, dass das Terrassenfeuer nicht ganz billig ist. Das bekommt man von der Art her im Baumarkt günstiger, aber dann hat es einfach nicht die Qualität. Die Verarbeitung ist aus meiner Sicht hervorragend, die Flamme brennt schön und das Ganze macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Gut finde ich die relativ hohen Scheiben (häufig sieht man nur Brenner mit kleinen niedrigen Scheiben) und den "Deckel" auf dem Glas. So ist alles geschützt und die Verschmutzung hält sich in Grenzen. Die Flamme brennt sehr schön. Viele beklagen sich über die Heizleistung. Die Heizleistung ist bei der Artikelbeschreibung angegeben. Keine Frage, ein Heizstrahler bringt mehr Leistung. Ist aber auch etwas anderes und verbraucht dann auch mehr Gas. Einen geschützten Raum (z.B. Wintergarten) würde das Teil sicher wärmen. Wenn man davor steht, strahlt er auch spürbar Wärme ab. Wer mehr Heizung braucht oder will, muss dann eben mehrere kaufen oder ein anderes System nutzen (z.B. eben Terrassenstrahler). Es gibt aber auch Negatives: Das Handbuch ist ausschließlich auf englisch. Mit Schulenglisch kommt man da schon durch, trotzdem nicht ok. Wer in Deutschland etwas verkauft, muß auch ein deutsches Handbuch beilegen. Am Anfang hatte ich große Probleme, das Teil zu zünden. Im Handbuch wird das auch beschrieben, es heißt dort, dass man nach dem Wechsel der Gasflasche oder wenn das Teil eine zeitlang nicht benutzt wurde, bei vergeblichen Zündversuchen 10 Minuten warten und es dann noch mal versuchen soll. Das habe ich auch gemacht und dann ging es auch irgendwann. Es hat manchmal aber wirklich echt lange gedauert, das Teil zum Zünden zu bekommen und ich war auch schon soweit, das zu reklamieren. Denn ein Gasbrenner mit Piezozündung sollte auch sofort "da" sein, wenn man ihn anstellt. Und ganz ungefährlich ist es auch nicht. Wenn man nämlich minutenlang versucht, zu zünden, und derweil Gas in den "Glaskasten" strömt, hat man auch schnell mal eine kleine Verpuffung. Der Glaskasten ist zwar an den Kanten offen, trotzdem reicht das Gemisch u.U., um eine ordentliche Stichflamme zu erzeugen. Also Vorsicht. Mittlerweile glaube ich, das Problem gelöst zu haben. Die Flamme brennt in einer Metallschale. In diese Metallschale soll man den mitgelieferten Beutel mit Steinchen füllen, diese Steine haben eine optische Funktion. Das Gas kommt von unten, d.h. die Schale ist wie ein Sieb. Durch die Löcher strömt das Gas. Und das braucht scheinbar manchmal, um seinen Weg nach oben zur Zündstelle zu finden, das mögen 5 cm sein. Ich habe die Steinchen etwas beiseite geschoben, so dass das Ganze immer noch gut aussieht, der Weg für das Gas aber aber weniger Hindernisse hat. Seitdem zündet das Teil sofort, wenn ich auf den Knopf drücke. Wenn ich also davon ausgehe, dass mein Problem damit gelöst ist, würde ich das Teil sofort wieder kaufen.
