what the range of motion before the laser light comes on, (inches)

in my case ,I will say that about 10 feet ,by the time the garage door open and I started to get in the garage ,the lights started to appear very fast, so 10 feets are probably the range for the motion sensor to be activated.

the laser on this product is very bright and it can be seen clearly on a sunny day or in a well lit garage. i would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone.

There's a "Dual Laser" model, and another model that says "Dual Laser w/LED". What's the difference? What's the LED model?

The LED is a motion sensing light, like a mini flash light on the base of the unit. If your garage is dark, it's great! Proviudes enough light to help see where you are walking, or until you can turn on the garage light.

Does the laser have a 360 degree adjustement

no, they have very little sideways adjustment. When mounted on the ceilings, their range is from straight down to facing forward with a little moment from side-to-side. If you try to point them very much towards the side, the arms will pop out but you can push them back in. Mine was mounted 2' from the front wall on a 8' ceiling with the cars parked 3' apart and they didn't have enough sideways movement to shine the laser above the side fenders. I was able to use this product by mounting to the side of the garage and point the lasers across the car hoods from that angle.
