great weight to height ratio that is really solid in the hand
not overly thin or thick with some weight to them. great quality and price compared to the price of an individual side (3.00usd) so i am extremely happy and my teammates are ordering their own sets.

Good But Not "Heavy Duty"
I'm generally pleased with these bookends though, like other reviewers, I'm not sure I'd quite call them "heavy duty." I'm using them to hold up various batches of graphic novels and they don't feel as sturdy as I was hoping. So far, they are doing the job but we'll see how they hold up as I add more books to what they are holding up.
