Rub 'n Buff Metallic Silver Leaf

Q: Does anyone know what the color difference is between pewter and silver leaf in this product?

Hi There! The Pewter color is a little darker and will not buff to the same shine. It's more flat than the silver leaf. It also has a slightly grittier texture.

Q: Has anyone use it to refresh costume jewelry? I would just use on the top part of bracelet that is fake silver and fake turquoise. Fake but beautiful

I use this product regularly to color glass engraving, which works beautifully. I'm sure it would work well on top of the bracelet, but not on the inside. It's water based, making it vulnerable to perspiration. FYI, it comes in a few shades of silver.

Q: Can you use this on doorknobs

We have used it on an old bathroom mirror frame and sconces in living room. Both look very nice. I would think you could use it in doorknobs. We just haven’t I think it might wear off in time and need to be reapplied
