Well here is the thing. I never got past install. I actually had these installed by my eye glass place. I have an issue with body oils I produce an excessive amount so my glasses slide a LOT. Along with that I shave my head with a razor and my sweat is really corrosive. Kinda a trifecta of bad when it comes to eyeglasses and temple tips so I break the standard plastic ones a lot. I bought these to have put on my glasses because I don’t seem to have the issue, they give me more grip and they are easier to replace. All my old glasses I’ve been able to use these without problems. They also had stiffer temple arms. These glasses I have now have more wired arms and when they put them on and went to bend the tip back down the tip broke right off inside and the other side the tips weren’t stuff enough to hold the arm down. So I’m going to have to return them. Doesn’t mean they wouldn’t work for you. They seemed nice and spongy and would’ve been comfortable I just never got to that stage.

My son chews through his glasses frames like crazy so these were a good replacement to extend the life of the frames. There is a good variety and they fit his glasses just fine. Just be sure it is a wire style you are inserting these over, not a frame.

I tried to get a pair of glasses repaired at an eye glass place, and was told that they do not have this part. So, like almost everyone, I went on the internet and FOUND IT! It works and I have spares in case I should lose one of the side pieces that go around the ear. Interesting find. If you need it, then buy it.
