Works well...
Now if I could just get my dog to agree to be still and not act like I'm murdering him using these they work very well cut nice and straight and goes through the nail almost like butter they're very sharp I don't cut down to the quick he has white nails so I can see the quick but he still acts like somebody's killing them and anybody outside would think we were torturing him but I do like these clippers

Very nice
I didn't notice the ones I ordered was for small to medium dogs. I have a Large dog with thick nails and the clipper would not work on his toe nails. So I donated them to a local dog grooming place that said they would put them to good use. But they were very nice and seemed really sharp, I just needed a bigger pair.

The package was overkill, the tool was strong and well made but the cutting edge was jagged and unfinished .....not happy!

These came obviously used with what I am pretty sure is blood on the blades. Very disgusting. I will be returning for a refund.

Very nice set for home use
This is a great grooming set for DIY pet nail trimming. The clippers are solidly constructed with sharp blades. It does not have a trimming guide, but that's fine with me since they always just get in the way. The handles are easy to grip with the rubberized coating. They are easy to squeeze, the spring pops them back open, and the hinge doesn't stick at all. The included file is long with a plastic handle that is shaped to help hold onto it, and the file itself is course grit and thick. I appreciate the addition of the nail file since our dog competes in canine sporting events and we like to leave her nails sharp for competition, then file them down afterwards. I love that it comes in a sturdy box that can be reused for storage. I would have had photos in use, but the dog is not very cooperative, even with the quick job these clippers allow for.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
