Love the dual purpose!
The perfect size! This resource/toy is a fun way to teach numbers using a puzzle or a stringing method. This also practices fine motor skills and encourages recognition of colors.

Pretty good, couple issues
This Caterpillar Toy is pretty good. I think it is really cute. It is educational. The child can learn matching by putting the right color block with the corresponding color on the board. They can learn what numbers look like by looking at the numbers on the blocks and the numbers on the board. They can match those numbers. They can learn number sequences. They learn dexterity by placing the blocks on to the shoelace or into the board. Two issues that I have with this product, the first being that the shoelace does not have a long enough stiff end. To poke the shoelace through the blocks, you need to be able to pull it out the other side and the stiff part is barely long enough to go through the block so it's difficult to grab and pull out. Older children with good dexterity would have no trouble but younger kids need a little extra length on that stiff part to be able to pull it through. The other small issue I have is that when the blocks are all on the lace, it is difficult to also put the blocks on the board. The lace makes it difficult for the blocks to fit in their appropriate slots since the blocks sort of alternate which direction they are leaning. Maybe it's not meant to be laced while on the board, but for me, I would like to put this toy away with all the pieces together and it's difficult to have it laced and in the board simultaneously. Not impossible, but not super easy either. This product is well made and I still recommended it, but a couple of small issues.

Great learning toy
My three year old looooooves numbers and letters. It’s quite an obsession honestly. So he of course loved these. He learned how to string the beads pretty quickly, so he got bored with that part of it after the first day. However he still plays with the beads daily. He loves putting them in order and fitting them in place.

Great toy for a toddler
My 2 1/2 year old love to play with this toy now. She got frustrated in the beginning, but now she loves it. It teaches them fine motor skills, the colors, and numbers. She loves it, and at the price it's great!

Alger needs longer
Great little toy my only gripe is that the angler needs to be much longer for little hands to put the wooden pieces onto.

My kids love it. Not the best quality.
My kids love to play with it. Made out of solid wood but pieces and easy to break. My kids have broken a couple of the pieces just biting them so not the best quality. Good you for older kids maybe 3 and up.
